I'm done spending money at this establishment. Everytime I go in there, they give me attitude like I'm bothering them or it's a... problem to place my order. They never have curry chicken ready for lunch hours, and they just give you more chicken bones thanchicken meat. Good thing there's a lot more choices for Caribbean food in the city. Read more
In town for the Indycar race and at another local place down the Speedway the previous night. Searched for places and saw this.... Decided to give it a try. Best Jerk chicken I?ve ever had. I love little gem. I always get the jerk ribs, rice and peas and cabbage with a cold ginger beer. Food is always piping hot,... seasoned to perfection and deliciously authentic. I was in Jamaica for vacation in 2021 and this place is the realdeal. Service is always friendly, I've never experienced them running out of food and they're always open when they're supposedto be unlike some other small businesses. Read more
I love this place! I went there about a week ago and I'm back today for the jerk chicken. It's that good. I want to try the... oxtails but I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to not order the jerk chicken. I guess I'll have to get both next time. HIGHLYrecommend. In February, I went to a different Jamaican restaurant (that has been around for a while) and was not impressed(neither was my date or his brother). This blows that place out of the water. Read more
The jerk chicken was perfect: moist and tender, and exploding with flavor with just the right amount of spice. The staff... couldn't have been friendlier, and the casual island vibe interior is perfect for a relaxing meal and hanging out. Verywelcoming. Plenty of parking too. Highly recommended! Read more
This was my first time having Jamaican food and Negrill Jamaican Restaurant and Bar did not disappoint! My daughter suggested... this place and I am happy to have listened. My friend and I were greeted upon entrance and we immediately noticed thecleanliness and how neat things were. I would have given a 5 star rating, however, of the three mixed alcoholic drinks theyoffered, only one was able to be made: we both had tequila sunrises. Rum punch and Long Island drinks could not be served. Thefood was hot, fresh, savory, tender and so full of flavor! I got the large curry goat and my friend got the oxtails. We bothwere pleased with the portions and bopped our heads to the Jamaican tunes playing while we ate our food. The staff was politeand a couple came by to ask if we were enjoying our food. I highly recommend checking this place out. I will return to try thejerk chicken recommended by Randy, a staff member. Read more
