I really liked this place! I haven?t been here since it was Pat Flynn?s, and the atmosphere doesn?t seem to have changed much,... but our seat what comfortable, our food was tasty, there?s a ton of space making it fairly easy to get a table, and we were evendelightfully surprised to hear live music begin to play toward the end of our visit. Hot salad was cold, crab cakes were not done. Wanted to take fried mushrooms home but they took my dipping sauce away before I... could get a lid and charge me $1.50 for a new one. Waitress did not ask us how our meal was once, even though neither one of usate it. Twice baked potato was Brown. I believe it may have been cooked more than twice. This place is a Hidden gem. The Steaks here are always perfectly cooked juicy and delicious. Atmosphere is real laid-back and a... little outdated but I always receive friendly service every time I place a pick up order. I once rated Murphy's as 5 stars. For 25 to 30 years I have eaten there regularly but in the past year the quality of the food... and service has gone from 5 to 2 stars. The only reason they get even 2 is because of Dave Lowe on the piano on Wednesday night.I do not know if the cooks are different or what but the food quality and selection is at best mediocre. The steaks are fattyand never cooked to order like in days past. I'm not really sure if I would recommend it as a great steakhouse. SorryMurphy's---- you get 2 stars! Read more
Excellent food with great service. I have not had a bad meal or bad service here in the 4 years I have frequented this... establishment. If you are in the area and hungry for a sit down meal, stop in. If you want dessert the cobbler is alwaysamazing! Read more
