Loved this place! The service was amazing as well as the food. For everyone saying they wish the portions were bigger... it... clearly states "small plates". It caters to people wanting to try a few things instead of getting just 1 entrée. So please keepin mind it is more like tapas! We did not have one bad thing here. From the fried green tomatoes ???? to the chicken sliders, the chicken tacos ????. However, if you are going to try one thing.... please make it the loaded tots. They slap SO hard. Read more

Fantastic experience at LouVino! Went for my birthday brunch thinking we’d have to wait an hour or two for a seat, but the... host promptly sat us two at the bar and had great service!! The bartender, she was super nice and relatable. The food wasfantastic. We had the chicken tacos, biscuits ands gravy, and an appetizer (I can’t what it was). All the food was deliciousand very well priced for the extreme quality. The service was great, the drinks were great (try the Bloody Mary), and the foodwas great. Would go back again! Read more

Went to Louvino on Mass Ave on Saturday. A bottle of Roederer hit the spot with a girlfriend and we each had an entree with... salmon added. It was a two hour meal because the kitchen was so backed up, but the weather and people watching was nice. Turnsout our reservation coincided with a wedding party of about 20 people and a large dinner rush. The kitchen must have been backedup. My entree was the goat cheese gnocchi with salmon. It's not cheap. Almost every dish is vegan or vegetarian. Dishesaverage $15 to $28 each. They allow you to add a protein for an additional $15 a pop. Right now they have scallops or salmon. Idon't know where the scallops come from, BUT, the salmon is from the Faroe Islands and it's considered some of the greatestsalmon in the world. It was tasty. We both enjoyed our food. Staff was friendly and apologetic for the delay. One thing thatsurprised me: the lack of wine knowledge by some of the staff. I was surprised a sommelier was not on hand on a Saturday nightat a restaurant that boasts about its wine selection. We also had to pour our wine ourselves - and we had a bottle. In a finedining restaurant that isn't the case. Our meal was over $140 with wine and food. For the price paid and the menu, I expecteda fine dining experience and did not experience it. Three stars due to lack of wine knowledge, delay in our meal being served, and lack to attention to detail. Regardless, great to spend time with one of my dearest friends and the people watching on asummer night on Mass Ave is worth the price of admission. ???? Read more

Great food and mimosas. It is a little pricey. We ordered a pitcher of blood orange mimosas, fried green tomatoes as an... appetizer and 2 croissant BLT and added crispy chicken to both. It was 2 of us and our billed totaled to $76. Atmosphere wasgreat, services was okay (they were really busy). I didn’t realize they had a dress code. No one said anything but we did lookout of place. Everyone was dressed casual. Great place to have a drink and snack Read more

Service could have been a little better. Joe was our server, she was kind just not very accommodating or attentive. Not a big... selection on the menu but the food was decent. We started with the goat cheese and bruschetta (which she charged $2 more forgetting the extra bread SHE suggested after I asked if it was an upcharge and was told "nope") it was really tasty though ! Wealso ordered the loaded tots which were pretty basic but good. For my entree I got the breaded chicken tacos that had mashedpotatoes & gravy with cheese. Again, the chef could have made the small change I asked for bread instead of tortillas and wastold they didnt have any bread???????? still, they were pretty good, the mashed potatoes were chilly but the flavor was good. Mybf ordered the grilled sirloin and added grilled salmon. The salmon was cooked perfectly also was the steak. It came wfingerling potatoes which could have used a little seasoning..any seasoning ???? the sauce they drizzled over them was a nicetouch. We plan to return for brunch and hope to give 5 stars!
