I?m 30 years old, and I was definitely the youngest customer in the building. Not that this matters. Just wasn?t my vibe. Saw a... few reviews on the carpet and honestly I?ve seen worse. Was the carpet and decor a bit dated ? Maybe. I showed up randomly ona karaoke night, and it had an overall friendly atmosphere. Bar tender was a bit older, and most of the servers were older.Again, not that this matters. A younger vibe is definitely suggested. Maybe I just went on a bad night. I got the chips, andlords special cheese dip. Which seemed to be very close to a VERY small cup of melted velveeta cheese and maybe a couple pepperpieces at the bottom. Needless to say. Not worth the 8$ I paid. Finished with my main course, a bourbon burger of some sort.Which was actually pretty phenomenal. Cooked right, and the onion crisps added an extra crunch. No complaints on the burger. 10$puts it at a cheaper burger in this day and age actually. Nearly 8$ for a bottle of IPA beer I think not. My friend orderedthe world famous prime rib meal. As he received this massive piece of meat on a plate I began to feel a bit jealous in why Ididn?t order the same thing. Came with a baked potato I believe but no bread or roll which was disappointing. I can?t weigh inon the taste of any of it because I didn?t try. My friend finished the entirety. And stated that it had seemed like they justslapped it in the microwave, heated and served. But that?s just what he said. This place may have struggled during thepandemic. And places are still coming back from it. This place is probably a no for me at this point. EDIT, keyboard warrior ornot. This place needs a major overhaul. Read more
???????????? I read a review in Nextdoor to check this place out so here I am. ?Was out of this world amazing? like they said... on Nextdoor? No, but it?s not as bad as people make it on google?. Yes the carpet is old and walls need painted but your noteating off it, your wearing shoes, and eating on a table?. How about all those people complaining about the decor start a gofund me to help them out. This place is clearly family owned and operated, I?m sure they struggled during COVID so relax andhelp out or don?t. Decor: the place needs to be updated but serves it?s purpose well. It?s a bar and family restaurant. Staff:super friendly! Waitress is very nice and welcoming. Good people. Drink Service: never an empty glass Food: cheese fries okay,nothing special, fries are excellent without cheese. Not a fan of the ranch. Salad my wife liked. Beef Manhattan was a 8/10,well delivered, wish it was brisket vs roast beef but that?s is personal preference. Chicken cordon bleu was good, green beansgood, and potato salad were okay. Honey chicken was very good, a little more sauce. Chicken was seasoned and cooked well. Ricewas very good. I?m 100% overlooking the decor on this review, update everything ?decor? it?s still 4/5. They have a great tenderloin but when don?t ask for mayo because they put jalapeños on there instead ????
The weekend breakfast has good food, but is just a bit too expensive for people who aren't gluttons and don't gorge themselves.... They need a la carte options that are reasonably priced for those of us who like the food and service but don't want to have toget "all you can eat." Usually, about 8oz of food is all anyone needs to eat in a meal. EDIT: I saw the response from the ownerof Lord Ashley's. Might I suggest that you actually publish that on your menu somewhere? The only bad thing I have to say is that the decor is a tad bit out dated. Other than that the bartender was super sweet and... welcoming and the food... Absolutely AMAZING! Best place iv found to get burgers. Read more
We have gone here for years but today was my last time. I ordered the breaded tenderloin (as I always do) to call it shoe... leather would be being polite. Food is delicious! My family enjoys the liver and onions... not my fave, but they love it. The appetizer combo is huge. Good for... at least 3 people. Potato skins were amazing, too. Friendly staff and homey atmosphere. To be honest, I don't think I've evereaten anything here that I didn't like. They have a great variety of food options... and kids are welcome, too. Read more
