The pizza was fine. The staff was friendly. It was cool how big the slices were and the crust was good, but the... cheese/sauce/toppings were all just okay. I found the sauce to be bitter and the pie could have used more cheese and toppings,especially considering it was $4 per topping. Read more

Best pizza in the state - and (I think) competitive most of the NYC-style pizza I've had most places. Much respect and... appreciation to the crew there (Frankie is awesome - just interacting with her leaves you in a better mood). They really careand are responsive and friendly. So good. Pizza, bread stick, toppings, crust, all of it so good. If you're looking for New York style, this is a great place... for it. It's a hole in the wall, in Broad Ripple, but the one downtown you can actually sit down and there's a cute littlespeakeasy connected to the back of it. I just love this pizza. Read more

The pizza tour of Indianapolis continues and did not disappoint with Goodfella's in BroadRipple. We ordered the 16" size with... half of it topped with The Don and the other half was topped with tomatoes, black olives and extra cheese. The Don had greenpeppers, red onions, sliced Italian sausage and pepperoni . The crust was perfectly cooked. As a NY style pizza sometimes thecrust cannot support many toppings without drooping and requiring the NY fold over. In this case the crust was able to supportthe weight of a lot of toppings. Compared to other pizzas claiming NY style, this one was extraordinary. The crust had therequisite air pockets in the rim and a perfect chew throughout. We ordered carry out .
