I've NEVER gone to a place that charges $1 to add sauce to the meats. I ordered 2 hot links and got the sauce on the side. They... gave WAAAY more sauce than was needed. Seems like it would be more cost effective to add a little sauce instead of letting theextra go to waste. This was my 2nd visit. My first visit was not good either. My first time eating at Garrett?s smokehouse was on Friday, October 22 and when I tell you I have never in my 60 years have had... barbecue that was so divinely delicious. I will never go back to barbecue heaven or king ribs again after eating your barbecue.We then had to come back on Sunday to try the smoke wings I?m looking forward to Thursday of this week when you open up again.Wehave a daycare right around the corner in walking distance my staff is also going to order some of this delicious food that I?vetold them about. First time experience was amazing! Walked in, grabbed a menu and saw the what I was looking for, turkey! I had turkey tips... before, but not turkey ribs. The cashier explained how you get 3 nice ribs for that price. I ordered the small dinner whichincluded 2 small sides. The sides I ordered were mac and cheese and greens, which was not cooked in pork (yes!). The meal camewith cornbread. Since I was not from the area, I wanted to try more menu items and also ordered a 10pc smoked wings. Everything was sooooo good! The turkey ribs fell OFF THE BONES!! The sides were delishous although the greens were highlyseasoned. The smoked wings were a nice size and REALLY had the smoked flavor! You could smell the smoke as soon as I opened thetray. Very disappointed this time! I've eaten here before and it was very good. That was a long time ago. This time it was totally... different. The place was nice and clean and service was ok with a little wait. I got my to-go order of Small ribtips, bakedbeans, and sweet potatos. Got home ready to chow down. The meat was swimming in some type of liquid, I think Water. The sweetpotatoes were mashed and full of the stringy things. The baked beans were very good. I ended up throwing it ($17.00) in thetrash.
