the food, wonderful! the business, not so much! i have worked for foundry for six months, i was the only black employee and i... was not treated fairly my last few months at foundry. the manager was very unprofessional, talked behind my back to otherbaristas, and very disrespectful. she made the environment of foundry very tense and made everyone not want to work there. ifyou are poc, i don?t recommend working there!! you will not be treated with respect, nor be treated fairly. Woke up early one day and decided? Hmm I?d like some brunch! Chose a random place and found gold by accident. Not really a... brunch spot, you know no mimosas and what not. But I was pleasantly surprised! This lil coffee shop is now my go to for abreakfast sandwich and coffee! Vibes are Dope. And as you can see from this wonderful sandwich? SO GOOD! - jalapeño bagel withbacon, herbed egg, cheese and I added garlic aloe. I just LOVE how they chopped the bacon? Changer of games... Also, they ladywho took my order was super sweet and explained everything to me! 100% recommend. Bring your laptop! Def a spot to get some workdone as well. Read more
Long time fan. The menu you wouldn?t imagine would be so thoughtful from a place known for their coffee. Really exceptional all... around. Bottled sodas and giant cookies get me every time. Crushed on one of the staff last visit even. They just got good vibesall around in the place. Read more
short version: I would recommend their coffee to anyone who has all day to wait around, but definitely eat your meal... elsewhere. Long version: My partner and I wanted to support a cute local business while enjoying a nice lunch outside with ourpup. We got almost all of those things at this establishment. Wonderful coffee (some of the best I have had) was not enough toredeem the nonexistent service we received. We waited for our food and drinks at the near empty restaurant for quite a while,and when we went inside to ask about the wait we were met with blank stares. Two staff members looked us in the eyes and thenwent back to their conversation, after about 5 minutes of standing in front of the counter with no acknowledgment from the staffwe sat back down at our outdoor table. When we went inside again (about 15 minutes after the first interaction) to ask for ourfood to-go (at this point we just wanted to go home), we were met with mediocre food. A soggy sandwich dripping mayonnaise and afew pieces of turkey... I would recommend their coffee to anyone who has all day to wait around, but definitely eat your mealelsewhere. Read more
The coffee was good and the staff was very friendly. I meet a lot of people for work and visit many coffee spots, parking was... very limited so I would not recommend for any appointments. I had to circle the location a few times before finding a spot. Therestrooms need improvements and better lighting. A cute location but not sure if I?ll return. Read more
Great service and nice location. Cold brew is good and strong and we enjoyed the toasted bagels and homemade cream cheese. Patio... is perfect on a late summer day with a good amount of seats and a few umbrellas (next to very noisy intersection, though? but Idon?t mind). Definitely a staple in this neighborhood - also, I appreciate the local art on display/for sale. Read more
Cute place with great customer service! Tried the chocolate croissant, Thai iced coffee and iced chai. Nice outdoor space,... although the road can be noisy at times. Would come again to try more and get a circle city kombucha growler! Read more
We were in town to watch our daughter run the Monumental Marathon. I had coffee, my husband had a mocha and we both had... blueberry muffins. Everything was fresh and delicious. The two women who took care of our order were so sweet and efficient. Itwas cozy to spend a little time inside the Foundry while it rained outside. Highly recommend. Read more
