My first time trying African Beef and rice, the food was good, however if you are not used to the flavor profile, it may take... some getting used too, I came at prime dinner time, very few people in the dining or bar area, ( like none.) A littleconcerning when it comes to turnaround and rotation. A few to go orders were being placed. From my personal experience, I willnot be back, however for people who are really into African food, this place is worth a visit. Read more

I was excited to try fufu and eguisi for my fist time but I was sadly disappointed. Food was cold when brought out, meat was... old, dry and leathery textured. I don?t know how other than the sweet waitress we had did this place rate so high. I do t seemyself visiting this place again. Read more

I came in late on a Friday night. The kitchen would be closing soon. Aside from this, everyone was very nice. The bouncer,... bartender, and waitress all said no problem we will help you. Very kind. I skimmed through the menu and had a back and forthconversation with the waitress about what may be available so late. A few things weren't possible but we landed on a fewthings. As for the food. The jollof rice was right correct color and cooked well. Inside it had some vegetables and pepper. Butit was not hot peppers, there was no spice. It was a bit extra oily. The flavor was good though. The goat meat with the jollofwas very well cooked, and satisfactory. Very little spice. The egusi is filling with iyan is filling. The iyan is perfect. Theegusi though was a bit too salty and strangely sour. Still ate it. The moin moin had an excellent flavor. The egg was a bitover done, but still wonderful. Sadly it had a couple bits of aluminum foil inside of it. The menu prices listed are not whatis shown on the receipt. You will expect to pay 20% more than what the menu states. For a dine in restaurant the prices areaverage. The problem is the portion size does not match the price. I would say this food is pseudo- nigerian traditional, butwith a fast food feel, and a fancy restaurant price. I am sure they are great at catering, but the menu needs to stay up todate. People dont like to see a different price after they pay. Read more

The food here is so flavorful and unique, and the waitresses were very patient with us as we tried to navigate the unfamiliar... menu. The prices did not match at all what was on the menu. We ended up paying almost double what we expected for the meal, and they charged us for water ($2.78 for each glass of water?!). I feel like we got gypped because of the confusing and newexperience. The food is definitely worth trying, but just be prepared to pay a lot more than you expect. Read more
