Dropped in for a quick breakfast knowing that is what they do best. Although the restaurant was only half full there was a... waiting list due to short staffing. Server was pleasant and food was good but we were there a long time. Read more
The place was short-staffed right from the door said 15 minute wait and that?s what it was. Monisha was our waitress and she was... awesome. Sat us down took our order food came out refilled our drinks without being tracked down. I know it doesn?t sound likeanything special but in these times awesome service is a guarantee and she delivered. Read more
We went into this Denny's and were seated for 20 or so minutes and didn't get a chance to order. While I would understand this... situation if this restaurant was busy but we were one of four tables with two tables with food on their tables already. Theserver even made eye contact with us and didn't even acknowledge us. Once we decided to leave the restaurant, we could seethrough the window as we pulled away, that our server cleaned off our unused table. This was the second time we received thiskind of service here. Denny's is becoming one of our favorite places to eat! We like family dining with a waiter/waitress. Steak and Shake used to be... that for us, but they are no longer. They went the fast food route. It pains me to give them such a bad review but they deserve it. We ordered and then waited nearly 50 minutes for our food. We... had to ask for silverware and napkins. Then the server disappeared. I went to get the check and "to go" boxes and could hearvoices in the kitchen but no one came out. A couple came in and one of them went to the kitchen door and got someone afterwaiting too long to be seated. The food was good, the server was not. I thought maybe they were short handed but I counted atleast 5 employees, and they weren't busy. What harm could it do to tell us you are short handed and there will be a wait. Idon't mind waiting, I hate to be ignored though. Read more
It appeared that the staff of this establishment really enjoy working there. That's such a wonderful thing especially in today's... environment where it's tough to find a job that you like. There was a lot of banter coming from the kitchen, laughter from staffmembers, and even the manager was hovering around an arcade game in the lobby while our waitress was inserting her hard-earnedtips. All of this would be fine, had my table not sat there for 20 minutes without any refills or the check. Read more
