A bright and cheery atmosphere, it felt welcoming with a homey type of professionalism. The place was super clean, well... organized, and the staff were positive, on point, prompt, and helpful, willing to call out order numbers or even bring the orderto you. The menu, while small, was pleasantly simple. Rather than portraying a lack of variety, it gave the feel ofspecialization, and their chicken is definitely special, with a focus in different levels of spiciness. Pretty good! The textures were on point including the slaw and I really enjoyed thee fries and their seasoning. I also like how... you get two sandwiches in one meal. The ?hot? had a decently sharp heat to it but besides that I didn?t get much flavor in thesandwich, might try medium or the tenders next time. Heads up it gets loud! Chicken was packed with spices/dry rub. Stupid juicy chicken ???? lots of pickles and the slaw is prime.... Pretty great portion of fries, way better than Shake Shack. Dave?s Hot Chicken was a joint I was hyped to try following when I first heard it opened here in Indianapolis. I finally got... around to getting takeout from them recently so here?s how everything turned out. Pros: I had placed an online pickup order andin which it was ready pretty quickly. I got the 2 sliders combo with southern heat level. The fries were fresh and crispy whichI enjoyed. The Mac N Cheese I also got was super tasty as well! The sauce is an interesting one but isn?t as good as RaisingCane?s sauce. Still was good! Cons: Part of the problem is, the chicken didn?t really stand out enough. It was bland and prettyunseasoned with pretty much no flavor. I probably should?ve just gotten a dine-in order. Additionally, they also forgot abeverage that I ordered with my meal too. I don't have much experience with Nashville hot chicken because halal options are limited, so this is a welcome addition to the... Mass Ave scene! Halal certificate is on display and the food is good. Nice range of spice levels, from a genuine zero spice to awaiver-required Reaper-focused level. All were good, the Reaper is not painful (Samyang's line of angry chicken Buldak noodlesare spicier) but a little warm for everyday use. Brioche buns round off a great sandwich! Read more

Definitely worth the hype. All the staff was super friendly. The wait was not long and the food was hot and very tasty. Not sure... of the mangers name on duty but both men were very tentative to our service need and made sure everyone in our party was happyand highly satisfied. I would most definitely be back again.
