Went for breakfast right after opening. Wasn't busy just yet. Our waitress name was Tina, she was amazing! I wanted my usual of... biscuits & gravy but also wanted to try the new breakfast special being offered (didn't come with B&G though) but Tina made ithappen! The service is excellent. We were seated immediately, our order was taken and we were served quickly. Courtney, our waitress,... was the perfect server (polite, prompt, and thoughtful). I enjoyed the rainbow trout and my husband had the country fried steak.This place was busy on a Friday evening, but they had no trouble serving the customers. I recommend this restaurant. Read more

I order for pickup through GrubHub. Worst mistake of my life. When arrival, customer service was definitely not NOT... acceptable. Food was cold, and you could tell it was sitting there for 20+ minutes. Mind you, I arrived 15 minutes before theapp said my food was ready. My father's apple crumble had corn in it. 1st review: I have been eating here for years, and I'm always happy with the food. The meals are more home cooked style. I... usually get the chicken and dumplings with 3 sides and cornbread. Very clean, very busy but was seated within 5 minutes after arriving. Waitress was at table within 5 minutes taking drink order... and food order since we knew what we wanted. Food came out within 20 minutes hot and delicious. Our drinks were constantly fullwithout having to ask for refill. The dining area was clean despite them being so busy. You can now pay your bill at the tablesimply by scanning bill. That is awesome. Love the rocking chairs out on the front porch of store. Read more

We have eaten here 3X and each time the service was excellent and the food delicious and freshly cooked. Yesterday we had... perfectly cooked eggs and bacon. Our server kept our drinks filled at just the right time. She had a very pleasant personalityeven while very busy. Note: service excellent across the board. Wait wasn?t long, the server Shirley was very short with taking order. When food came out, eggs were wet and felt cold. Small... portion of sides. My wife had French toast yet was extremely hard. Overall not a great experience, the place has really wentdownhill. On revisit, we received our drinks no ice, I thought are you out? The server said they have ice just didn?t know wewanted ice. This was a 45 minute wait for a table waitress sucked took 49 minutes to get our food I ordered the same as my guest and they... had hush puppies on their order I got none my catfish was cold and wet my okra was cold mashed potatoes and gravy was cold someals are not consistent and was NOT FRESH!!
