Good food, fun atmosphere. It seemed maybe they were short staffed like most places these days so it took about 45 minutes to... get our food and some of it had gotten cold. The two folks I saw working were doing all they could to keep up so kudos to them.Certainly would have been 4 stars if the wait wasn?t so long. I wish I could?ve stayed longer so I plan to go back. It is great to have a pub on campus of Butler. Service was great, food was really, really good. The best were the... appetizers?pretzels with cheese dip and a caramel dip?YUM! Tried to come here and get food I ordered was told it will be done in 10 minutes no less than 4 times over the course of 40... minutes. After the 4th time I just left I have no issue waiting but dont lie to me and waste my time. I only got there that"early" because that's when they said my food would be ready. I thought this place was great! Now, truth be told... I did go on a Wednesday around 6:30 and I'm pretty sure Butler students... are already on Summer break, but there was PLENTY of seating and the service couldn't have been better. The hostess wasfriendly, honest and flexible. The bartender was super quick to greet me, and, although he didn't give much feedback about theSt. Joe's beers on tap that I had no clue about, he did instantly allow me to try a couple of the beers to choose from withoutme even asking, and served me as fast as fast could be. The Kolsch was great, the Hefeweizen was good but a bit hoppy (for thosewho care... Prost!). Tons of indoor AND outdoor seating in the shade at that point in the day. The only negative if I had to bepicky might be the bathroom, which essentially reflected what I thought the whole place would be like... a college bar. Otherthan that... I like Chatham Tap, and the food here is just as good as the Mass Ave. location. Wings are excellent, fish and chips is... awesome, sandwiches and pizza are great. The service at this location is generally poor. TBH, the service was poor when itwasn't Chatham. It's like this building is haunted by the ghost of poor service past. I will continue to patronize because itis the best option close to me for good food in a dine-in setting. Hopefully, they can exercise those service demons. Read more

Our family stopped by after our niece's high school graduation, and we were pleasantly surprised by the English Football &... Butler Basketball vibe, casual atmosphere and friendly staff. We were starving for good food, and Chatham Tap did notdisappoint. The Buffalo Chicken Dip was creamy and spicy, and perfect on a crispy homemade tortilla chips. The French Frieswere crispy on the outside, and a mashed potato feel and taste on the inside. Absolutely delicious. The Scotch Eggs wereperfectly cooked all around. A warm hard boiled egg surrounded by a crispy chorizo coating and smothered in either a mildmustard or jalapeno barbecue sauce. The grilled chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked and smothered in a spicy sauce. Wow thechicken tender platter was fit for two people to enjoy.
