The first time we were there this year, was on Memorial Day weekend 2022. Unfortunately the food was less than heavenly. We've... both been to Texas, and Kansas City. This was far!! from either. The best way I can describe our experience there was as a poorreflection of the BBQ we've had at any family functions in the past. Was the BBQ bad? No. Was it great? Certainly not, adequateat best. I also got Macaroni and Cheese with our order. I've found in the past that if the food is decent (whether it's a burgerplace or otherwise) Macaroni and Cheese makes a pretty good condiment. The Macaroni and Cheese on Memorial Day 2022 was handsdown the worst I've ever had. I gave my wife a sample and she agrees on this (confirmed to still be true on 9/5/2022). It wasthe blandest, mushiest, and most flavorless Macaroni and Cheese I've ever ate. When my wife and I were there during the 4th ofJuly weekend, we never got around to trying the food. This is because, a woman outside came to aggressively hit on our friend(asking if he could forget his wife when he said he was married, and saying my wife was "dumpy" and she would not want to havesex with my wife which was weird, no one was looking to do that with her from our group). It quicky became clear that there wasa good chance that this woman was going to assault my wife, she followed us around outside and continued to escalate against mywife even when I told her to leave us (and pointedly my wife) alone. Because of this we felt it was wise to take off as soon aswas practical. It's a good idea to keep your guard up when you are here, if for some reason you feel the food is worth the trip. Read more

Turkey Ribs were delicious. They said the cornbread was sweet but it was not. The sides were ok, the greens were extremely... salty so I used the bland cornbread to balance the salt. I'll visit again for the turkey ribs. Read more
Great staff, good prices, large portions. The only bad thing was the sauce. Even the spicy sauce was too sugary I just couldn't... get into the sauce. I would recommend getting the sauce on the side in case your experience was the same as mine. Read more
Ordered a tip dinner with sauce on the side. However, took the food out of the bag and the tips was overloaded with sauce and... the tips and sauce was very salty and tips were tough. Did not like the baked beans or mac n cheese. A waste of money and endedup throwing the food away. Read more
