After complaining to Applebee's and giving them an opportunity to address and resolve my complaint, I'm sharing my story... publicly because it is clear to me Applebee's couldn't care less about my experience in their restaurant. I received a genericautomated message thanking me for my feedback and " Here's a $10.00 off your next online purchase of $30.00 or more." THIS IS MYSTORY: We arrived shortly after 4, there was a staffing issue, I understand this. A manager immediately took our drink order,but it took quite a while for someone (else) to return to take our food order. We placed our order. A couple was seated at thetable next to us after we ordered drinks. When the food arrived, the burger was missing its toppings. It took at least 15minutes for the waiter to check on us and bring the missing toppings. We waited a long time for someone to bring the bill, butthey never did. I had to ask the hostess to bring our bill. The bill she brought included 2 iced teas and spinach dip that wehadn’t ordered. The table next to us heard our complaint and informed us that they’d ordered those things and our burger wason their bill. The hostess called 2 waitresses over to try to figure out how to correct the bills. Both tables explainedmultiple times what each had ordered. When the “corrected” bills arrived, the waitress first went to the other table. Sheapologized to them and happily explained that she’d comped certain items on their bill due to them being inconvenienced. Thenshe handed us our bill saying the items we didn’t order had been removed. I looked at my bill and saw that she’d labeled theitems I didn’t order “comped” (they weren’t comped because they were items we never ordered). I said to my guest that Iwas insulted because the table who showed up after we did received an apology and a discount for their inconvenience, but all Ireceived was a sloppily adjusted bill. Food was good. Ordered our food online to pick up. Pick up time said it would be ready at 8:45pm. I always assume it may take... longer and usually go 10-15 minutes later than the time given. I get there at 9pm to pick up our order and I still waitedanother 15 minutes. Read more

It's been a very long time since I've eaten at an Applebee's and I was thoroughly impressed! I got the steak with added shrimp... for like a dollar cuz that was the promo that month. Our waitress was extraordinarily friendly and attentive. I do not recommendthe BLT sandwich, however, that looked like it was microwaved poop. Read more
