Honestly I’m a little disappointed. I wish we could give 1/2 stars because I feel like 3.5 is more accurate. I rounded up to... give the benefit of the doubt, hoping that my experience was a fluke. Based on the reviews we wanted to give this place a go.While the food is good (I’d say 4-4.5/5), the value for what you get is not that great. ~$22 for chicken parmigiana, we askedfor white sauce/Alfredo instead of red sauce, it was made incorrectly but was fixed right away. However when I ordered takeout Igot home to find that there is hardly any pasta. For just two entrees we spent $56 on takeout. While the pandemic has changed alot in the restaurant industry and I do expect to pay more that pre-pandemic, pasta seems like a relatively cheap thing to skimpon. It’s possible that this is only for takeout and dining in person is a different experience. Read more
Tried Amore for the 1st time this weekend and loved it. I had the Tuscan skillet and a Caesar salad. The greens were fresh and... cripsy. The homemade dressing was perfect. The skillet was extremely hot. The sauce was not over bearing and tasted lovely. Myserver Gregory was excellent. He was attentive, kind and professional. Their pomegranate martini is a must try. I am very big on reviews and this place is definitely one to check out!!! This was our first time trying this restaurant and I... cannot wait to go back again! The food was amazing! The salad was crisp and fresh! The chicken Parmesan was perfect! I have noidea how some comments state that the marinara sauce isn’t good. It was AMAZING! The dessert was so good. 10 out of 10!!! Update: I reheated the rest of the special for dinner and it is amazing. Would get again. Totally blown away by this little... Italian joint tucked away next to our Kroger. My hubs wasn't "in the mood" for Italian, but agreed to go for me because I'mpregnant and I wanted Italian. Our first visit was completely awesome. Talk about a fine dining experience! I got the specialwhich wasn't quite as delectable as I'd hoped (my taste buds are silly right now. I'm sure it's incredible.), but everythingelse was. My husband's steak was perfect and he made yummy noises our entire visit. The service was equally as spectacular. Inever would have known they were short staffed that evening. Pacing was perfect. This is a hidden gem. Absolutely wonderful food, top notch service, and nice atmosphere! To start, I had the watermelontini... drink, and for dinner chose the Caesar Salad (served with amazing bread) with Shrimp Diavolo with added Vodka sauce.
