Honestly I’m a little disappointed. I wish we could give 1/2 stars because I feel like 3.5 is more accurate. I rounded up to... give the benefit of the doubt, hoping that my experience was a fluke. Based on the reviews we wanted to give this place a go.While the food is good (I’d say 4-4.5/5), the value for what you get is not that great. ~$22 for chicken parmigiana, we askedfor white sauce/Alfredo instead of red sauce, it was made incorrectly but was fixed right away. However when I ordered takeout Igot home to find that there is hardly any pasta. For just two entrees we spent $56 on takeout. While the pandemic has changed alot in the restaurant industry and I do expect to pay more that pre-pandemic, pasta seems like a relatively cheap thing to skimpon. It’s possible that this is only for takeout and dining in person is a different experience. Read more
Tried Amore for the 1st time this weekend and loved it. I had the Tuscan skillet and a Caesar salad. The greens were fresh and... cripsy. The homemade dressing was perfect. The skillet was extremely hot. The sauce was not over bearing and tasted lovely. Myserver Gregory was excellent. He was attentive, kind and professional. Their pomegranate martini is a must try.
