I have been driving by this place/plaza for two years and I regret not checking it out sooner. Sometimes the most unassuming... places are the best. Food & service here is absolutely wonderful. How lovely it is to live in such a beautiful place on theocean with all the amenities without all the in your face glitz of some other places. The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. However, the past few times we have come, they have not allowed us in because the... kitchen is backed up. We have seen them not allow people to sit at the bar to eat because the kitchen decided to close early. Iunderstand times are difficult, but the inconsistency with this place is awful. I don?t believe it?s the servers issue, but thekitchen. Maybe management needs to get on the same page. Make sure you get reservations and don?t plan on walking in. If you doget reservations, they also may be out of multiple menu items. Read more
We always love this restaurant and they have good service. I love their limoncello cake for desert as well.
November, 2021. Adding to my review. One year later food was as delicious as it was the first time. Chicken parm thin and... crispy again and the blackened shrimp and scallop fettuccine was rich and scrumptious. Stay tuned for more pictures - we will beback for this guilty pleasure! November, 2020 Adding to my review below, we had dinner here again. The chicken parm - chickenwas pounded thin and crispy with rich a rich tomato sauce and Shrimp Gnocchi Ala Vodka - oh my - so very rich and yummy. Whenwe walked into the low warm lighting with the high booths, Italian vignettes on the walls, and white linen table cloths, I feltlike We were in a Soprano episode. Service was great and it is obvious after being open over 30 years they take great care ofthe place. We stared with the warm baked bread with a delish dipping oil and Parmesan cheese then onto our house salads withhome made balsamic dressing (fantastic) and crumbles of Gorgonzola cheese. For our main course, my husband had Angel Hair withBolognese Sauce and I had the shrimp and scallop piccata over Angel Hair. The portions are not large but certainly enough for ameal (nothing to take home for leftovers). Bolognese was delicious and my husband said he would definitely get again. Mine waslight, not too rich or overly lemon flavor, although I do think it could have had a bit more lemon taste and the scallops (wishI had more than 2) and shrimp (5) were really good. Had the Fettuccine Alfredo with added chicken, and my boyfriend the Shrimp Gnocchi. Delicious. Sweet staff, amazing food, and... great service. I definitely recommend for good Italian food! Read more
