Darn it boy. Just had me some delicious BBQ. The fried okra amazing fresh out the fryer there Mac and cheese OMG so creamy and... delicious ???????????? and can't stop there, there ribs just dipped in the awesome tasting BBQ sauce ????????????and last betnot least there sausage coins lol there round like a thick coin lol ???? but taste so good as well strongly recommend it toeveryone out here stop by and enjoy every bit of it you'll leave with a big smile and wanting to take a nap lol. ???????? The billboard on the highway about the fried bologna sandwich is what originally brought me in. I?d never had one and wanted to... see what it was about. I?ve eaten at plenty of BBQ spots and thinking back, nothing about Joe?s really stood out to me. I hadthe bologna sandwich and after a couple bites, I was over it. I love that they give such a huge cut of bologna though. Maybe Ishould have tried it with hot sauce or the BBQ sauce, but it?s a no in my book. I also had the hand battered mushrooms & thetexture of them was so off putting, I couldn?t eat them alone, I HAD to dip them in the sauce they give you. As for the ribs,which I LOVE ribs, there was nothing about them that would rank on my list. Like I said, the billboard brought me in, I canimagine it does for a lot of people but, would I go back if I was passing it again, no. Staff was helpful with the orderingprocess and the restaurant is kept very clean for the amount of people they serve. I used the restroom during my visit and itwas orderly as well. Clean and quick service. The sauces tasted fairly similar to each other so good thing that doesn't make the plate! I got the 3... meat sampler with pork, turkey, and brisket and it was excellent and moist, didn't need sauce at all! Definitely coming backsometime. Read more
Holy cow this place is fantastic! If you have a craving for something to fill you up. This is your place!!! This isn?t on... the menus but I made BBQ cheese fries! Pulled pork was tasty the cheese was amazing and the fries were fresh hot and crispy. I chose the sweet Smokey sauce! Will be stopping here every time I?m passing through! Read more
Stopped in when traveling the highway. I had the 3 meat plate. I thought they really nailed the brisket as it was was... highlight. The susage was a little too cooked and fried Bolgna was good. What pushed it to a 5 was the Mac N Cheese, it wasexcellent. I also liked their sauces Read more
My fiancé and I were stopping through and needing to take our 30. (we?re truckers) found this spot and so glad to have found... it! Best damn BBQ I?ve had in a LONG time. To die for. Quick service, friendly people, guns and ammo ???? doesn?t get muchbetter than that. We left with a gallon of their sauce and rub! Added it to our list of good eats, we will most definitely beback. Uncle Joe's BBQ sauces have been a staple in our home cooking for years. To have this restaurant close to home is just great!... This is hands down the best BBQ you are going to find anywhere in So. Illinois. The brisket is melt in your mouth, ribs fall offthe bone, pulled pork perfectly smoked... Every time!! I could go on and on but you get the point. Get ya some of the best BBQaround!!
