I loved this quaint little place!! Next to the snake river with indoor/outdoor seating. Menu was simple and not complex and food... was delicious. Best hot chocolate I have ever had - my mind was blown. One of the owners (from Rome, Italy) came outside to talkto me and was very friendly. If you go in expecting Olive Garden, you will be greatly disappointed. The flavors might be different from what you?re... expecting if you?re used to very Americanized Italian food. The portions are full meals without overloading your plate. Anddefinitely leave room for dessert!! The gelato is excellent, as is the tiramisu (sorry it isn?t pictured!). The staff wasincredibly friendly and the service was prompt without feeling rushed. My only recommendation would be to call ahead if youcan, as their tables are usually full. Read more

Absolutely delicious and worth the wait as they do get busy. Loved this authentic experience. Food is imported as well as the... alcohol. Staff are very friendly. This is the most wonderful, delicious Italian restaurant! The restaurant is run and owned by 1st generation Italian immigrants... and their food is the real deal! You can't go wrong with this amazing restaurant, it is the best of the best! Every single menuitem is pure excellence! I will caution you that the restaurant is a little small, so if you want to get in, you need to pick agood time and day, because you cannot afford to miss out on this true gem of a restaurant! (P.S. Wonderful food, even better service. I hope the community supports Mama Fla?s because this place is great! The owners are so... kind and personable. They take the time to be present with each customer if you want to chat them up. I ordered the mushroomrisotto and my wife had the pomodoro fettuccine. Both were delicious and felt so homemade. However, as good as our entrees were,the real star of our dinner was the tiramisu and Italian hot chocolate we had for dessert. Wow! My wife and I get tiramisuanywhere we can and this just might be our favorite! And the hot chocolate is so unique. Absolutely amazing hidden gem in Idaho Falls. I felt like I was sitting at my grandmothers house having a nice family meal. Very... welcoming and honestly the food was so delicious. Mama Fla only opened a few days ago but the food is amazing! The restaurant is owned by an Italian couple that have brought... their love for Italian food from the old country to Idaho falls. They import all of their ingredients and make all of their ownpastas. The vibrant flavors of the sauces delight every taste bud. The service was outstanding. The food was served on simpleplastic plates and yet it could compete with the best food in the area. I highly recommend you try this restaurant.
