Authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Great service. Menu offers a lot of variety. We tried Chicken fried rice, shrimp fried rice and... bun bo hue. Both fried rice were good, shrimp was juicy and well cooked. And Chicken had sweet touch of honey. Appetizer, theegg roll was delicious, perfect crisp on the outer layer with moist filling! Dropped by for a lunch break on our long drive from YS NP to SLC, and decided to have a bowl of hot noodle that we missed thus... far. We got ourselves a bowl of Steak & brisket and Steak & Meatball Pho?s. I must said it was a great pleasant surprise. Firstof all the Pho (rice noodle) was chewy and tasty, of which I would think even better than those back home (Southeast Asia). Thesteak was well cooked, brisket was excellent as it melted in mouth, and the meatball was ok. The garnishes at the side addedmuch favor to the soul. Nice foods with friendly staffs! Read more

I had a fantastic experience here! The service was great and the food was phenomenal. I got carry out to go have my own little... picnic at the falls. From the moment I walked in, I could tell I had come to the right place. I chose their Chicken Pho andfried wontons. The food is completely authentic, no other Pho in the area compares. Hot Spring Pho will always have my business! Read more

If we consider taste alone, it was great. All other aspects were severely lacking. I dined here with a co-worker recently and... we left equally underwhelmed. The food itself was delicious. The pho broth had great flavor and the egg rolls were friedperfectly. However, the bowls were filled with broth and very little of anything else. I've been to pho places in differentcities around the country and very often received a more generous portion for under $10. In this case, two bowls of pho, anorder of egg rolls, and extra noodles ran us close to $40. That's not including the extra fee that is charged here for payingwith a card. Cash is king at Hot Spring Pho - you even pay a fee for using a debit card. To be completely transparent, this wasalso the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant in IF. The dude who was working today seemed inconvenienced by everyperson who walked in. We were not greeted upon entering and it took over 10 minutes just to get our water...then at leastanother 5 for him to take our order. He would not check on the guests and was on his phone at the counter the whole time (untilsomeone waived him down for help). When I say everyone in this restaurant was thirsty, I mean it literally. Each table in therestaurant ran out of water while we were dining here and physically had to stand up and walk over to the counter to ask for arefill. Then the host would come to the table with a water pitcher but only to refill the table who asked for it. Everyone elsewith an empty cup had to repeat the process. Hot Spring Pho is a fairly small restaurant, there is no reason customers have tosit around waiting for assistance if someone can stand around looking at their phone. Considering the lack of pho places inIdaho Falls, I would potentially come back...but only for takeout. I don't recommend stopping by if you only have an hour foryour lunch break. Read more
