I love this place so, so, so much. This bakery is perfection! It has an old time vibe which can?t be found many places any more. You can tell their business is all... about the products and it shows! The donuts were delicious along with the danishes everything we tried was incredible.. wevisited 3 times during our visit even waiting for it to open some mornings! Even the prices were excellent!! Very tasty food, great ambiance, and friendly staff. Their apple Danish was very soft, with just the right amount of crunch from... the strudel. Absolutely great. He also gave us a little history lesson about the shop, which was fun. :) Read more
I bought donuts from Carsten's yesterday to host an important business meeting. They were a huge hit, and there were lots of... comments like, "These are the best donuts I've ever eaten!" Even more unbelievable is that a dozen of these little delights isonly like $2.00 more than what you buy from the grocery store but way tastier! Read more
Friendly staff, loved the huckleberry donut, a bit disappointed the didn't have butter croissant. Very beatuifully decorated.
Just stopped here to get a donut fix while traveling through and my God these are so good we went back in for more! Definitely... go out of your way to find them, you will not regret it. The donuts are so light and fluffy and melt in your mouth! Read more
Oh my goodness! Absolutely a rare gem. There aren?t many bakeries like this around anymore. Heading home to California we... decided to stop by per the ratings. And they definitely deserve more than 5 stars. They were out of most items but the items wepurchased were unbelievably amazing: glazed donut( I didn?t have any great expectations but it was amazing), a whipped cream andraspberry filled something or another? amazing! almond croissant..again tasted homemade and amazing! With many people expandingtheir businesses during this time?you might want to open a shop in SoCal. Just sayin? Customer service was amazing as well.Please support this business. Best place for treats, like actual old fashioned quality treats. I almost don't want to leave a review because it's an amazing... "secret" in Idaho Falls. The love and quality put into each item is evident in all their cases. Bravo Carstens', bravo. Read more
