The place itself is history. Down to the old wood floorboards, pictures and info on the walls, to the cellings of the old... building. So that was really neat to see, but its a bar. ??????? The food was okay, not awesome nor terrible. The staff isfriendly and they enjoy talking with you. It can also take a bit to be seen cause its seat yourself. So cool place but overallokay, chill. Tried to eat dinner here. Sat down. They saw us at the bar but no one came to serve us. A couple nearby shared their menus. They... had been waiting awhile. Eventually we all walked out and went somewhere else and had great food and service. Read more

Good food and great atmosphere. A lot of really cool things to look at with there museum collection if you don't want to eat... but wanted to see a lot of interesting history including many news papers from historic events in the last half century. Read more

This is one of the most amazing small town bars you can find. Went in on a Saturday and had a great chat with the owners while... sitting at the bar. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was about 3x the size I was expecting and delicious to boot! I atethe whole thing! I definitely recommend checking this place out! We stopped in after a pleasant drive up from Meridian with visiting relatives from Texas. This is a great place for a ?taste? of... old Idaho. The decor , plank floors, old pictures, etc. are so perfect for a visit to Idaho City. The service was extremelyfriendly and the food was great. If you haven?t been to Diamond Lil?s you haven?t been to Idaho City! This is my first time to this small mining? town. Wow, the... historic feel is authentic starting with Diamond Lil?s! I wish I could have spent more time reading and looking at all thememorabilia on the walls and ceiling. There?s so much! The pictures do not do it justice. You?ve got to experience it foryourself. Saturday night is the prime rib special! I hear it?s to die for. We didn?t get to experience it but next time we?re intown we will for sure! Read more
