Not a bad place, but it took just over 30 minutes for me to get my food. I know it was busy, but for this kind of place, it... should not take this long to get food, in my opinion! With that being said, I found the food to be very tasty. I had the crispyherb wings, black sticky rice, and Thai iced tea. Everything I had was good. The staff seemed nice. Absolutely delicious chicken Pad Thai right inside (one of the) doors of Union Market! I?ve been to Thailand a few years ago and... eating here at Som Tam definitely brought me back to all those great memories, it?s amazing how food can do that. The onlyrecommendation is to offer Chang beer however a Singha paired nicely with my meal. Highly recommend these noods ;) Read more
Fast, yummy option. The staff were very friendly and greeted me as I was looking at the menu. The cashier pointed out the daily... specials, but I chose the Khao Soi with braised beef. I loved it - chewy, yummy noodles, soft braised beef and that soup base isdefinitely not for the faint-hearted. I would get it again and look forward to trying a dry noodle dish next time. The Thai icedcoffee was okay and the lychee black tea was too sweet for my taste. I took a loop inside and the order was ready in less thanten minutes It was wrapped up in a stapled-down paper bag with my name on the outside. Inside there were napkins, chopsticks anda spoon along with my order. The soup was in a separate container than the noodles and toppings. Read more
Two stars for the location and the friendly smiles behind the counter. Other than that I was truly disappointed in the Khao Soi... Gai (chicken). The egg noodles were extremely al dente and the fried noodles were store bought and stale. The curry sauce wasunder spiced and did not come with the lime, pickled cabbage or red peppers. If you?re looking for authentic Khao Soi this isnot the place. Super unfortunate. Read more
Fantastic Thai spot with unique and delicious dishes compared to the standard. Curry and papaya salads are superb!
I had a really delicious Pad Thai here. The service was excellent and the food was served quickly. A great place to eat.
