Reviews for Shouk in 395 Morse St NE, WA
Walked in here, expecting Palestinian food from the dishes, decor, and Arabic writing displayed in the promo imagery. Well, it... was, except it serves as a stellar example of complete culinary and cultural appropriation. Eating here contributes to thecultural erasure of the Palestinian people. Read more
Amazing! The shouk sausage was out of this world, the cauliflower ( side ) was great. I ordered almost the entire menu since the... food looked great, and everything was sooo good! Read more
Delicious! Tried the Shouk Sausage with house-made sausage, roasted tomato, charred onion, pickled cabbage, harissa mayo and it... tasted even better than a regular animal sausage. Was able to order at a kiosk screen without any need to waiting on a cashier.Love how efficient and effective that is. The ambiance and music was delightful as well! Read more
Delicious! I recently stopped eating meat and most of the vegan food like impossible burgers and beyond meat is disgusting. But... there food is the bomb dot com! You won't miss the meat. The sausage had the texture of a real sausage so does the friedmushrooms. And whatever they make there falafel with, it's the best I ever had. This will be my go to spot. What I didn't likewas the rice and lentils it could have a little more spices to it but it wasn't disgusting though. Read more
Loved the space, the food and the option to compost and recycle. I appreciate they're trying to be plastic free while still... making really great food. Read more
Just? wow ???? the house made sausage was fantastic, and the cardamom chocolate chip cookie was so delicious!
The fried mushroom burger in pita was ok. Pita tasted good. The rice bowl was very dry, bland and the bean burger was overly... dry. It was only rice and few lentils here and there. 2 pieces of onion and 2 very thin radish pieces. That's all. No sauce orgravy. Falafel is extra charge too. After charging $12 for this they want you to get the sauce separately for$4. Not worth thevalue. Did not like the taste as well. Falafel toooo salty. Public parking lot at the back. Read more
Well, I can say this place certainly tastes healthy lol. I didn't care for the bread, but I know that is there traditional... bread. I wish it was toasted or something. But aside from that the contents of the burger was pretty solid! I really appreciatevariety here at Union Market. A solid choice for anyone looking for a healthy burger alternative. Read more
