I was D.C. snd was recommended this restaurant. I ordered Fichi Pizza and Ginger Iced Tea w/Lemon. It was delicious. This... restaurant was a great surprise because come to find out it was run by folks or deaf, most of the patrons in a packed restaurantor deaf, or using sign language. I thought it was so cool. I’ve never experienced being around all that I learn some basicsign language when I was younger and it kind of motivated me to learn a little bit more because I want to communicate I did thebest I could and it was still great. The service was awesome. My waitress was Monica, the other staff were nice too. Therestaurant was clean the location was great. I was able to lock up my bicycle just outside. I recommend anyone trying this placeeven if you don’t know sign language, you can still communicate, if you just pause for a moment you can pick and understandwhat is being said. Plus they are patient with you for trying. Read more

We had a really nice time here. Our server was very friendly and the food was delicious. We had breadsticks and a Fichi and a... Margherita Pizza. I think it would be great if they had a single page with some basic ASL instructions, like letters or basicphrases like “thank you”. We looked it up online, to thank our server. Read more

I wasn’t sure if we would have time to eat here on our trip to DC but I’m so glad we did! The food was good and the workers... were all very friendly! We ordered a Nutella pizza and it was great! I’m so thankful the workers took the time to try tocommunicate with us even though we don’t sign super well. I assumed they would just have us write everything down but theytook time with us and made us feel comfortable no matter what our level of ASL was. I would definitely come here again! Read more

Outstanding place. Open and inviting atmosphere. Loved ordering with sign language. Deaf owned and run, all staff are ASL... users. Felt so nice to have a place where I wasn’t the “odd one out.” Delicious meals - pizzas are individual sizes soif you go with a friend, each should order a separate one so you can try more variety. Definitely recommend the Fichi and theBuffalo chicken. Read more

Delicious brick oven pizza! Got there early on a Friday with a friend. The restaurant was clean and staff were courteous. The... pizza is 'one size' perfect for 2 people. I love brick oven pizza and what we ordered did not disappoint! Our server, Dan (?),was prompt and attentive. It's another great example of the benefits of inclusivity...plus, only a short walk from the SigningStarbucks;) Excellent pizza and excellent service...definitely recommend!! Read more

Such an awesome spot! It’s a deaf-inclusive space with amazing pizza! If you don’t sign, use your phone to help you write... what you want to say. It’s also a fun experience for kids - they get to watch the pizza being made! There’s also a largespace for meetings and/or parties. We’ve been a couple times and will definitely be back! Read more

I’ve lived in Bella Napoli and fell in love with the Margarita! So simple. Mozzeria has done a fantastic job of recreating the... essence of a the original, no place outside of Napoli will ever be exact! Service is great, and the staff is super friendly, even though I can hear and speak, I’m the odd ball! LOL. Seriously, if you are looking for a great place to have a pizza orchose from their simple menu with great customer service, then come here. Read more
