I?m from Baltimore so I?m used to hood carryouts, but this location here is beyond DIRTY. I initially ordered here through... doordash. I got a catfish nugget meal for my husband. My husband said the food was good so I came in person to get myselfsomething along with a dessert. This place is filthy. Like beyond disgusting. I felt like I needed to shower when I walked in.Walls, floor, door, windows. DIRTY. Of course they have addicts just hanging around begging (I?m used to this, but still.) Therewere roaches crawling across the counter right when I was about to order. The man taking orders used his notepad to squish one.I immediately left. Not surprisingly, my husband now has food poisoning. He?s been glued to the toilet for 5 days now. I?m in alove triangle with my bathroom. Idc how good the food is. I will never again order here. I think a lot of people probably sleep on this place, but they're the bomb! I'd actually rather go here to get my chicken than... KFC or Popeyes!! Their chicken has great flavor! They have a variety of sides and desserts to choose from. Also, their icedtea/lemonade mix is delicious!! Lastly, the prices are great! Food comes in a big box (reminds me of the old school joints thataren't around anymore). Come try them out!! Read more
The establishment was full of smoke, ventilation may have been broken. The table top was filthy season covered the top, employee... was reading messages from his cell phone. It used to be a clean place, but now it's a HOOD hip hop. Read more

We found this location online the next day after the March on Washington in DC while it rained. DoorDash app works perfectly in... the NE of the capital (not Postmates). We ordered catfish, fries, coleslaw and macaroni. The highlights are catfish, mac andslaw. Why? The catfish was properly drained and meaty. The mac was cheesy and thick. Overall the meal had the lyrical content,tonenality and instrumentation which every Jay-Z album possesses. Wonder why it's called HHFC because it was all synchronizedlike a well-oiled orchestra.
