Great quick, easy, and authentic Egyptian cuisine run by an actual Egyptian family. The chicken kabob is great!!

The koshary bowl was delicious. Great combination of flavors and textures. I could pry eat a whole bowl of the caramelized... onions. Comes with some sauce in the side to spice it up a bit. Highly recommend! Read more

This past weekend we tried the hawashei and the chicken kabob sandwich at Fava Pot at Union Market and both were incredibly... tasty and fresh. For dessert we tried a selection of their baklava bites- OMG, what a treat. Hands down best Egyptian foodaround. From a Dutch Foodie and her Egyptian BF. Read more

Had the Falafel over roasted potatoes and the koshary bowl, and a fava beans starter. The fava beans were our favorite, but the... food was generally well worth it. Decently sized portions and fresh ingredients. Will come back here. Read more

Meticulously prepared, the owner made a point of recommending suitable substitutes when the guest just ahead of me took the last... falafel dish. Service was prompt, organized, and comprehensive. I'll have to come back for more! Read more

Wow. Worth the 15 min wait, all food is fresh and made to order. the Egyptian liver sandwich was delicious and pleasantly spicy.... I didn't expect it to be this good. It's pricey, but so is everything else at Union market however the sandwich was largeportion, it was too good to have leftovers. Customer service is all business here, not very friendly if you have questions.Still recommend it. Read more
