Dropped by for their amazing food on my weeklong sightseeing trip to DC. Came by on a weeknight and the place was quite busy. My... teenage son had a sandwich. He loved it. I had brisket and pork belly - both were delicious. I don?t like sweet pickles buttheir version paired perfectly with the meat so I ate them all. The barbecue sauce wasn?t overly spicy either, so itcomplemented the meat rather than overpowering it. Had potato salad and coleslaw for sides - both were good. Staff was friendlyand helpful. Music was loud inside and the place had a very energetic vibe. There are covered outdoor picnic tables for diningas well. I?m already thinking of eating there again on the same trip. Some of the best BBQ I have had in a long time. Everything was on point! The brisket...my God...so good. Wait time was not an... issue at all. Frozen daiquiris was everything. My mom and I had a frozen combo of the Pink Panther and Orange Cream - delicious!Overall, great 1st time experience. Friendly staff and inviting atmosphere. Parking I would say was the only down fall, but astaff member did help us out with that...plus it is was Pride weekend ????. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend! Read more
Tried this local bbq place for date night and it was amazing. The brisket was very juicy and tender. The pulled pork was... delicious. The fried Brussel sprouts with their signature sauce is very tasteful. The fried onions were amazing with whateverspices they coated them with. Everything was just delicious and worth the money! Great Restaurant!! This is a BBQ place with food that was super good. You order at the counter and sit to wait for you food to... be brought to you. They have a full service bar as well. They have a heated tent to add to more indoor settings when cold (itlooked like it would open up for nicer weather). The staff were professional and friendly!! Overall great!! Read more
Best food we have had on our trip to DC...might be some of the best BBQ I have had. Been to Carolina, to Kansas City, to Santa... Maria CA... the smoked rib tips were to die for. Kids had the pulled pork sandwiches (super yum). I recommend the fried Brusselssprouts, the grits, and the Mac n Jack cheese. Well worth the drive to this lovely local neighborhood gem! Read more
Went for a quick bite and loved it! Drinks are Fire ????BBQ is so tasty?we had brisket,ribs and wings and all were absolutely... delicious! But MOST importantly the DRINKS! They were super tasty and will for sure be returning to enjoy more of the wideselection of drinks? true neighbor gem ????!!! Only down side is the Mac n cheese? not traditional and if you love Mac n cheeseskip it - I?m not sure if it was chopped green peppers or jalapeños but hard pass ! Read more
Came here almost 2 years ago from New Jersey, and I?m sooooooo tempted to take a trip back down to DC literally just because of... this place! The brisket chili was absolutely outstanding. Everything was amazing! The staff was also very welcoming and made usfeel at home. But that brisket chili just hit different. I will definitely be back in the future. Read more
