Elevated Korean food that is well made. I prefer traditional flavors but still recommend you give it a try. Galbi was very... sweet. JapChae was very peppery. Added protein is placed on top instead of cooked together. Kimbap comes in a hand roll, Irecommend you ask for it in slices instead. I don?t believe they toast the wrap or season it with sesame seed oil (wish theydid!) Their ban chan (side dishes) are very good. The season dried radish is a bit too sweet. Overall one of the best Koreanplaces in DC so far! But I still prefer the traditional flavors found in Annandale, VA. Read more

Such a hidden gem that shouldn't be hidden! Everyone needs to try this. Family owned business that puts love into every order.... Great service and perfect experience sitting outside on a nice day enjoying the food. Generous portion sizes make the valuethat much better. Amazing variety and blend of spices and really is a nice homestyle cooking. Can't wait to have my new Koreanstaple so close to home. Read more

I got my hopes too high when I saw vegan options on the menu. Impossible bulgogi?? Sign me up...I thought. We ordered the spicy... pork kimbap, the impossible bao, and the inferno bibimbap. While my partner enjoyed the bibimbap, I hated both the spicy porkkimbap and impossible bao. The impossible bao was supposed to be bulgogi flavored but I would never taste this and associate itas anything remotely bulgogi related. it was just a lot of ground beef and took up way too much of the bao. The kimchi on top iswhat saved it from being completely trashed. The spicy pork kimbap was also bad, was more like two hand rolls and thevegetables were only in the top inch of the roll. After that it was only spicy pork and rice. It also didn't have any of thetraditional kimbap veggies so I was disappointed. Read more

Always yummy. I usually get their bulgogi cheesesteak and 4 banchan pack but decided to switch it up. This time I got the pork... belly bossam box, bulgogi dumplings, and spicy pork kimbap. Everything tasted great. Pork belly is was my favorite, good portionsize and all the sides were very fresh. Read more

We recently tried this new family-owned spot in Brookland. They have a variety of options, including buns, bao, wings, some... creative pizzas, as well as a variety of bibimbap options with an emphasis on sustainably sourced ingredients. Our meals werefilling with great flavors, we'll definitely be back when we want quick takeout! Love that they have options to take the flavorsof bibimbap and turn it into a salad, plus some dishes with impossible meat as well as vegetarian options. Read more
