The best lobster I have ever had in my life. Truly. So was the clam chowder. I can still taste the sweetness of the fresh... lobster and I ate every bite. Clam chowder - out of this world, no skimping on clams. Whole steam lobster - delicious, fresh, meaty,tasty. Blackened cod - perfectly cooked, large portion, green beans were crunchy and flavorful. We went here a few years ago and I discovered I'm not a fan of whole belly clams, so my memory was a bit tainted of the... experience. We came back after enjoying an afternoon shopping and were thrilled to discover a new favorite clam chowder. If youlove a chowder that is thick and creamy and doesn't skimp on the clams, grab a bowl here. Just don't make my mistake and offerto share, you'll want the whole bowl for yourself. The fried fish was fresh and flavorful and the fries were crispy. I wouldn'treorder the steak tips. The green beans were basically raw and the steak was good, but lacked a bit of flavor. August of 2022, I brought and treated Kat and myself for dinner at Spanky?s Clam during our vacation in Cape Cod. We weregraciously welcomed by the restaurant?s staff and our server, Shae treated us with great courtesy and respect, perfectlyaddressed all of our inquiries regarding the menu, and did a superb job on taking our orders. Our meals were absolutely wellcooked and my wife and I loved our entrees extensive serving size. I had ordered Spanky?s fried seafood combo while my wifeordered the broiled seafood combo. While my wife enjoyed my seafood combo a bit more, we both found our respective meals to bespectacularly seasoned and superbly delicious!!! Everything about it was absolutely perfect!!! In addition to our great mealand service, my wife and I loved the nearby scenic views of the Hyannis Inner Harbor and the Lewis Bay, and enjoyed the coolevening breeze emanating from the bay.
