Walked in, the establishment has very low ceilings, I am 6?2 and can reach the ceiling with little to no effort. The waitress... who sat us down was sort of rude. She had a moderately heavy attitude. We were surprised because the place had so many highreviews yet it definitely was not a 4.7 star rated service as we expected. We were a big group and after ordering drinks, wedecided to not proceed and give them our business. We just felt uncomfortable. I had high hopes because we are Caribbean aswell, from Dominican Republic. I was hoping our own people would treat us with greater service and respect. We left beforeordering appetizers. I received a gift card to this restaurant, I had no idea it was so close to my work. I only ordered the Jerk Wrap so far but the... taste of it compliments each ingredient greatly. The fries were a slight undercooked but overall had a crisp outer layer and itdidn't take away from the meal. I'm always looking for a new spot in town providing alternate meal options, thank you. My wife recommended this place for breakfast, and as always, it was a good choice. The waitress was very friendly. Foods were... great. The Egg Benedict, salmon platter, coconut French toast, meat lovers omelette, and so forth we?re our choices. I alsoliked that potato was fried and served with onions. It is a must go in Yarmouth. A bit of the Caribbean right here on the Cape, if you have a hunkering for some great jerk chicken, curried goat , red snapper... or slow braised oxtail , this is the place to go. My oxtail was delicious with a sweet savory home cooked broth that remindedyou of Sunday dinner that your mom would make.. the tangy slaw with a wonderful Caribbean vinaigrette was truly outstanding andwould be a reason alone to come here. Plantains and rice are simply prepared. Keniqua our waitress explained there would be adelay for the oxtail as we were there during Sunday brunch.. but it was worth it. My husband got the Wicked breakfast with thecoconut French toast. It was served with syrup and a homemade fresh berry compote. It was a great take on a standard and a musttry. Was picking up a car in the area and wandered in to grab lunch, and WHAT A TREAT! The service was terrific, but the food was... outstanding. The Chicken Jerk Alfredo was out of this world. So flavorful, cooked to perfection, I'd put it up against thebest alfredo I've ever had. Had to get the plantains and they did not disappoint. Am sad I'm not in the area more as the menuseems to have a ton of great options. Read more
