Reviews for Rio Grande Tex Mex Restaurant in Hutto, TX
My husband and I went to eat here before going to a football game. We were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly.... Prices were average, but it was worth it because the food was very good. I would go back, but it's an hour and a half away. Read more
I'm not sure why I put off coming here for so long. Food was plentiful, delicious, and cheap. I was also pleasantly surprised by... how good the margaritas were. Typically when I see sweet & sour as a mixer, I pass, but these had the perfect mix and LOTS ostequila. To add, the restaurant is well designed Nd both the severs and bartenders are super friendly and provide greatservice. Rio Grande is officially added to the rotation list. Read more
When our meal arrived the waitress said she needed to use my wife's napkin because the plate was hot and she would bring her a... replacement. None arrived. We asked three others for a napkin and still no one brought one. on the 4th request they brought thenapkin. By that time my wife had finished her meal. When we wanted to pay our check, we got no copy to see the charges. She hada hand held device for payment. She just told us the total of the bill. When I paid the device asked if I wanted a receipt and Iselected yes. No receipt printed. Food was mediocre at best. This is the first time we dined there since they moved to thislocation. It will be our last Read more
We arrived a little late and we got a seat at the bar outside. It was pleasant out there. The bartender, Dom, was excellent! He... made good drinks and he had good recommendations of places to check out in the area. The fajitas were really good and it cameout fast. A very pleasurable experience. Read more
Was a good spot very nice people and so far all food I have tried has tasted good.
We were hoping the food would be awesome but nope, just average. The new restaurant is pretty with nice outside/covered patio... seating. I am sure it will be a great happy hour hang-out. The best thing was our chips and salsa. The food wasn't bad butnothing special. I am not sure if the bartender was filling in or what but they insisted that Ginger Ale and Ginger Beer arethe same thing for their Deep Eddy Mule...got a little put out when I sent it back, but they did take it off of the bill. Beanand cheese nachos consists of 3 full size tortillas smeared with refried beans, some cheese, and a little dab of sour cream andavocado on the plate. Their tomatillo sauce is spicy (not indicated on the menu). The chicken in the enchilada was moist andthere was plenty of it Parking is tricky, just need to go on past the door to park in the back. I might or might not go backfor a meal. Read more
