Food quantities were plentiful. Chips were not what you would expect if you are comparing to a corn tortilla chip. I ordered a... full Nacho; it was tasty and filling for my wife and I. The Fajitasi ordered came on a large plate. The seasoning was toothick on the meat (BEEF), and overpowered the dish. The tortillas were more like a chalupa shell. This is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant. It's just like being in my families kitchen. The food is fantastic and... there's plenty of it. When we're in Hutch, the Anchor Inn is where we always go. You can either have the buffet or order offthe menu. Either way you can't go wrong. Keep up the great cooking Anchor Inn. Read more

Good Mexican buffet. Never been to a Mexican buffet before, but I would go again. It was super busy, so it took quite a while... to get a table, but once we did we were able to jump right in to the buffet and it was tasty. There was a bit of a negative vibefrom some of the staff yelling at each other which didn't really set an amazing tone, but overall me and my family really likedit. Read more
The service was okay. But as a Hispanic myself I was very disappointed with how inauthentic the food was. The queso was... literally store brought tortilla chips, covered in shredded cheddar cheese and tasted like it was popped in the microwave. Great place to go in Hutchinson. Interior is unique. It has been a staple downtown since '77. The staff was attentive. They have... buffet Wed-Sat for a reasonable price. Tamales and rice are decent, and I enjoy their tortillas. It's buffet food so don't setyour expectations too high. If you order off the menu I feel like the quality is a little better. Good place to hit the bar andwatch the game. They also have room for larger parties and events. I'll upgrade to five stars once the restroom facilities get alittle more cleaning attention. Very dissapointed. Flour chips (not corn), most are folded in half (should be flat) and cost extra. Refried beans were way to... salty to eat. Onions and peppers were raw and not diced for the fajitas, should have come out sizzling on a sizzling hot plate.How is this place open? Read more
