We rented a Speedboat and tube for our family of 5 to enjoy the afternoon on the lake. We were excited and couldn’t wait to... see the boat. The initial reaction was disappointing. After spending $500 for a 2 hour rental, I was expecting more. … Theboat was dirty, there was dirt all over the seats, couldn’t see out of the windshield because of dirt, There was garbageshoved all around on the boat. It obviously hadn’t been cleaned out after the last rental. The young lady giving us operatinginstructions missed a key point as far as being able to shift the boat out of neutral . As she pushed us out towards the Buey Iwas left to figure it out on my own. After giving us most of the instructions , I asked if the radio was equipped with a radio.She then started to push us out and answered she wasn’t sure but thought so. Needless to say, there was no radio. At the endof the day my family enjoyed themselves. But for the amount of money being spent for 2 hours there could have definitely beenmore done to prepare the boat , have knowledge of what comes equipped on the boat and make sure all important operatinginstructions are given. The Cam-Am rental was a great experience. Staff is kind and treats you with respect. I’m not sure what happened but I snapped... a rubber belt on the rental and they came and found us quick and got the belt replaced. Brought us water and didn’t make mefeel like the rookie I am driving these side by sides. Overall I will Be coming back to book again and I’ll be bring mycompany here for a team activity of rentals. Overall experience was just ok. The lake itself was very nice and we had a great time on the lake tubing and water skiing. The... rental place didn’t really know what they were doing. One person sent our group of 8 down to the dock, then the dock set usback up to get life jackets, then sent us back to the dock. Then two people had to go back up to get paperwork from the office.Once we got on the boat someone drove us out into the lake to show us how to operate the boat and use the equipment. The guycouldn’t answer any of our questions like what’s the best way to water ski or how to use the wave blocker they include withthe rental. The tours and rentals was amazing. My family from Hawaii came up to visit me my wife, and kids this past January and we went on... a tour that took us up these amazing sand dunes that had these awesome views, trails and landscapes. I must tell you that I'mnot a big fan of bumpy trail rides, but after this experience I totally dig why people love doing this. My family couldn't getenough they were wanting to extend our tour for another 2 more hours lol. The best part of the tour was when we drove up thisvery steep sand dune mountain, and when we got to top the view was so enlighting for our mind, body, and souls. It felt like theHOLY SPIRIT was anointing us and BLESSING us with the amazing view that GOD has created. Now we're from Hawaii and my entirefamily is big so you know we were starving after this amazing tour. The tours and rentals building has a small but I tell you avery great restaurant that serves very delicious burgers, pork and chicken warps and quesadillas,cod fish n chips, shrimpbaskets and my favorite they have 16 to 20 different ice creams you can choose from for dessert.
