Just moved here (I?m a NativeTexan) and this shipleys doesn?t taste anything like shipleys!! ??????????? Won?t be back.
They overcharge a dollar more on donuts, meanwhile, all other Shipley for a dozen mix is the same price regardless... And care... how they serve your coffee or drinks guy keeps putting his finger on tip of where I drink, I ask him to get me another one andhe continues to put his finger on the tip of where I drink my coffee I ask for 3rd time, and told him don't put your hand on mytop tip, that where I drink my coffee... and their donuts are not as good as other Shipley donuts, to be charging a dollar more! I almost never give a 1 star review but its warranted. Shipleys is a lazy attempt to sell donuts at a premium price. Lobby is... closed since covid began and it's the end of 2022. Seems absurd. One would think if the new permanent format is a drive thruthat in 3 years they would put a menu up showing what they have to sell, nope. Only drive thru I know of with no menu or postedprices. (Important comment, read on) What is inexcusable is charging over $30 for a dozen glaze, dozen chocolate glaze, twocoffees and a bottle of milk at a drive thru only shop. What is robbery is realizing the Sat 7am donuts appear to be day olddonuts. Every donut was stiff, dry and cold. We ended up throwing them away. There are other options nearby that provide betterdonuts, with a selection you can see to choose from, at a more reasonable price with the optional benefit of eating them insideso not messing up your car.
