Beautiful restaurant with delicious food and great service. They are usually fully booked during weekends hence reservations are... advised. Most dishes are decent but our favorite include the risotto and the fish cakes. Their deep fried butter tart is alsovery delicious. Highly recommended for any itinerary in Muskoka. Read more
Wow. Exceptional food. Had the ravioli, incredible balance with the curry. I know... Doesn't sound right, but tastes so... good. And for dessert, had the deep fried butter tart in donut batter. Had a very enjoyable dinner at this restaurant. We sat in one of the gazebos which I highly recommend for a unique dining... experience – the weather was great, the views very nice and the privacy was also super nice for a romantic evening. Theservice was great with the waiters not hovering too much but also always checking in to make sure we were happy. The steak withthe house made horseradish was probably one of the best meals I've ever eaten. The beef tenderloin was also delicious.Definitely check out this restaurant if in Huntsville. Read more
Had the best birthday dinner at Tall Trees restaurant. The new renos are stunning, and the service, as always, was fabulous. We... had the private library dining room just off of the main foyer with a spectacular sunset view. Our server Jay was veryattentive. Special thanks to Lisa for perfectly prepared, delectable dishes and Owner Ashley for stopping by to say hello. Delicious meal for two in Huntsville. Had the Caesar salad and scallops to start, and the Cajun chicken and top sirloin for... mains. The food was just so good. Get the prix fixe menu - it’s worth it if you like the options on that menu. Only thing isthe ambience inside was a bit tired. We wish we got the outdoor chalets, but you need to book in advance. Came to this place for lunch while visiting Huntsville. A classic local diner in town. Loved the interior, felt like we were... back at 70-80's. The food was not quite impressive. We had Chili Lime Chicken Tacos and Tall Trees Burger as mains, not to beblunt but they were quite basic. The deep fried calamari, however, was pretty good. It was crunchy and yet not oily, with thesweet and sour sauce on the side, recommended for appetizer. Service was OK. Overall, can be a place to try for a fine diningexperience. Read more
Cozy and charming restaurant with an I credible view of the lake. The menu has a lot to offer, and they even give you ideas as... to which ones are their signature dishes with a little logo next to the name. There are lots of options to choose from andeverything that we tried was delicious. We started with the fish cakes. They were crispy and delicious, and the sauce that comeswith it compliments it very well. Then we tried the onion soup and it was quite tasty, full of cheese and enough onions andbread. Then we shared to main dishes the pumpkin and sage risotto and the pappardelle, both were delicious and very filling asthey are on the heavier side. Overall and incredible experience.
