From Midwest where we have some excellent delis. This is not a Jewish deli like I have been craving since moving to Tennessee. ... This is just straight up good sandwiches. The place won't win any decor awards but will win your sandwich loving stomach over. Onion rings are tender and delicious. Had the kitchen sink and pizza sub with extra meat. I've eaten at this Huntsville institution for over 30 years, enjoying the same excellent subs from locations on Jordan Lane and... Governors Drive. Don't let the look & age of the deli's keep you away. They are nothing fancy but are clean and observe allsafety standards. The subs themselves are one-of-a-kind ... long & slender full of meats & cheeses ... and dont forget theoptional diced & marinated tomatoes, onions and pickles. Give them a try. My family has always spoke highly about this place for over 40 years or so. I had never stopped by here until today with my... wife. The Kitchen Sink sub is definitely the best sub I've ever had. My wife enjoyed her Steak and peppers sub immensely.Overall great food, outstanding service and a busy but quiet place to eat. We will definitely be stopping by for lunch againhere soon. We stopped by here because we've heard so much about this place. Let's just say it needs a total RENOVATION. ALL you investors... out there with all that extra overflow of money reach back and help this place out. The young man was excellent as I listened tohim give great customer service .
