I've finally had the opportunity to try Mazzara's! My expectations of service, taste, and quality were high and they exceeded... them. I had the Rigatoni with chicken. This paired well with bread covered in sundried tomatoes. Sweet tea on the side next toan incredible atmosphere and equally charismatic staff topped this experience. I'm looking forward to future trips. I'm veryimpressed. Read more

We booked one of the two upstairs rooms and held a small reception there. The staff was attentive and caring and everything went... perfectly to plan. The charcuterie appetizers, wines, and champagne we asked for were waiting for us as we arrived. I could nothave asked for better service throughout the evening. The food was great too and the staff were flexible when one of my guestschanged his order after the fact. The manager, Brandon, displayed attention to detail and devotion to service and he wasgenerally a fun and charismatic hospitality professional to deal with. I look forward to dining here more often, whether it bea group event or just an evening of fine dining. Read more

Wow! Blown away by their pappardelle pasta with roasted wild mushrooms! Really loved their meatballs. And we had the chicken... Marsala (add pasta, trust me). Service was excellent. Highly recommend! Read more

Do yourself a favor and make reservations! We didn?t know we needed to do so and almost missed out on trying this wonderful gem.... The front porch is first come first served and a table opened for us about the time we were about to go elsewhere. We enjoyedthe Italian wine flight, Caesar salad, lemon ricotta ravioli, shrimp scampi over pasta, and the cannoli trio (chocolate, pistachio, & vanilla) which was a special for the evening and was too good thus not getting a photo of it. The service wasgood. The owner (or manger) would come behind servers outside to ensure we were taken care of - bravo sir! One negative to beingoutside would be; be warned or be swarmed by if you don?t bring some spray. They don?t gravitate to me or one of my sons butthey do my wife and and our other son. The interior of the home, now turned restaurant is magnificently curated and trainingit?s old charm. They?ve updated it as needed within the correct time period. A craft bar is in likely an old parlor room thatalso accommodates first come first serve patrons. The Shrimp Scampi over pasta was exceptional flavor. A simple dish with anwonderful sauce and finish. The career salad had a unique twist with grabs podano crisps and white anchovies - exceptionalhouse made dressing. Lemon ricotta ravioli it?s very flavorful pallet while retaining a light crisp finish. The wine flightsampling was a nice mix of 3 reds and one white wine all of which were very good with the meal. The non pictured cannolis werea wonderful finish. While they were smaller than I hoped for they didn?t lack in flavor or quality. Highly recommend. We dinedhere when it was at the stove house and had meatballs which is still on the menu and lasagna not available the evening we werethere. The dishes aren?t as hearty as some Italian restaurants but what they lack in volume they make up well with quality andflavor. Bravo! Read more

We went in for a belated birthday celebration and was not disappointed! Pita, our server, was so sweet, friendly, and... accommodating. The whole staff was very welcoming. The food was authentic and absolutely amazing. It was also cool to eat in alittle historic part of Huntsville. Can?t wait to go back! Read more

What a neat restaurant! In the old Humphreys house. Good Italian food. The lemon ricotta was fabulous. The rigatoni was good but... it didn?t need chicken, just more pork cheek. Will be back! Read more

Overall great experience, the food was decently priced and the wine selection was great. I had a the Italian flight, caprese... salad, meatballs, and the chefs charcuterie. I would suggest getting a reservation, we didn?t but the bar and porch or openseating so we sat outside which in hindsight wasn?t the best option as our dinner lasted three hours because we couldn?t everfind our server to order. But overall would highly recommend Mazzaras for good Italian food. Read more

Wow! The food was exquisite and our server was a walking encyclopedia of everything wine! I had the shrimp scampi and it was... amazing. They have an excellent wine list and the server brought us several samples. Sort of unusual not to serve complimentarybread at an Italian restraint. We ordered the focaccia and it was four small squares. It was very tasty. Atmosphere is nice, albeit a little crowded in, with too many tables in a small room. But, I understand? more tables makes them more money. Alittle odd was the TV playing (without sound) in the corner. Didn?t seem to fit with the decor or atmosphere. Still an overallfive stars based on the quality of the food and wines. Read more
