It had been a little while since I had stopped by Mario?s so I popped in for an old favorite. The meatball sub was as good as... ever and I ate every bite. The one disappointment was the lack of menu items. I asked the lady behind the register and she saidthey could not find enough staff to make everything they wanted to serve so they had to cut back on the menu. It is a sign ofthe times I am afraid. I generally don't eat at Italian restaurants but the family decided they wanted to have it and so we chose Mario's because the... menu looked good. We were not disappointed. Even though they currently have a limited menu compared to their normal one, thepasta portions were good (enough to take leftovers) and the pizza was delicious: but the best thing was the service. Everyone weinteracted with was so kind, smiley and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, and this made the wholeexperience a lovely dinner out with the family. I would certainly recommend this restaurant if you're in Huntsville. Read more
Mario?s seems like a really nice restaurant if they could just get some more staff hired, when I went here to get takeout I... called ahead and was told 10-15 min wait but that was closer to 25 min due to the staff shortage. And they are operating on alimited menu right now with only 1/2 of their normal choices. The girl working the register said it was her last day and she washappy to be quitting so I?m worried about this place and that?s unfortunate because the food itself was great. My hot wings withthe house made ranch were delicious and my mother loved her grilled chicken salad. So we will go back if they can get this placefully staffed. Read more
We had an amazing experience. This new restaurant is quite a delight we ordered several dishes in order to review different... options. We enjoyed each dish with ordered. The cashier was amazing and our server was able to suggest a but just a fewdifferent menu items items that she enjoyed. This is a pretty new restaurant and I and I think they will do well in this area.We will definitely return to Taste other menu options.. I ordered the Italian sub and it was delicious licious. The fries weresuggested and they were also delicious. The pizza we ordered was exceptional It was an item that I would not have particularlyordered but but it turned out to be one of the options I enjoyed As well the fries were very tasty alongside my sandwich. A solid pizza place! We tried the Buffalo chicken ( Buffalo chicken : 3 types of cheeses, fresh jalapeño (not canned), bacon,... onions $ chicken- topped with romaine lettuce , homemade ranch and hot sauce ). And we tried la Parma (prosciutto , olives ,mushrooms, artichokes). Both were a hit! Overall a great spot with fresh ingredients and friendly staff. Read more
After seeing this restaurant getting high praise on Reddit, I decided to try it since I've had an itch for Italian food that... Cork and Crust failed (miserably) to scratch. The atmosphere is pretty cool, especially if you remember what the old Mullinsrestaurant looked like. They've cleaned it up a bit, added some nice murals and there are some free arcade games to play whileyou wait. You can even see in the kitchen in certain spots and I really appreciate a place that's confident enough in theircleanliness to allow that. Everything is pretty spaced out (due to Covid, I'm willing to bet) and when things return to normal Iimagine it will be more cozy. So far as food, I tried the bruschetta, a pizza and the chicken parmigiana. The bruschetta wasgood and had obviously fresh ingredients. The pizza was the star of the show--fresh ingredients, slight crispness to the crustand flavors that worked well together. Additionally they brought out some of their marinara to dip our crusts in and it didn'ttaste canned/processed whatsoever. Best marinara in town. The chicken parmigiana was a bit underseasoned, but was cookedperfectly. Perfect crispness to the breading while still keeping the chicken moist. I must also add that this was seemingly awhole, fresh chicken breast--not some freezer burnt pre-breaded abomination that comes off a sysco truck. With some brine forthe chicken and salted pasta water, this would be a homerun. Read more
