I work for a nearby business in the mall. I got some cookies, tipped, and went to the stand. Their employee, Dawn stuck her neck... out and loudly said slamderois things about our service. She thought I was a customer. I let her know they employ me. I think itis beyond tacky to do this. I doubt she would want the same for her business. I am posting here instead of calling the store. Stopped by to get a snack. When I went to get my food. I didn't see where she put it. I have had a several long days of work and... school. But as she hands me my bad she rolls her eyes. I didn't really appreciate that. I have worked in retail and customerservice since 07. Where I come from we can't be rude to our customers. Well don't be rude to anyone because we are simply human.If you want to roll your eyes make sure you do it when the customer can catch. I usually get Annie pretzels, but they were closed. So, I thought why not give them a try. I stood in line for a while because... they were busy. I had my mask off my nose, and was aaked to pull it up. Which I did. However, I'm in chronic lung and heartfailure. They were so rude about my mask and didn't give me the chance to even tell them my health issues , before refusing toserve me if I didn't pull my mask up. I got my order and waited for my friend to get her order near by. A young male announcedto his coworkers and the crowd that they had a customer who wouldn't follow the rules. I'm in the mall most days. When I come in the doors, there are signs that say "Employees and guests are required to wear face... coverings." I see people ignore these clearly posted requirements all the time and give the folks at Cookie Company grief whenthey are asked to follow the posted rules. People have cussed at the employees, argued, flipped them off, thrown things at them,threatened them, and thrown fits. While waiting one day, I heard a man say "I have a breathing problem" when asked to put on amask. A few minutes later, that same man told two girls, who also weren't wearing masks, "I told them that because I don't wantto wear one." I saw another lady say she had a note from her lawyer excusing her from wearing a mask and she threatened legalaction and a $1000 fine when she refused to wear one as well as the alternative curbside pickup she was offered. Another manheckled the employees, calling them "sheep" and said he "didn't participate in politics". The man then pretended to cough ontheir glass and said "I'm contaminating you." Still countless other people not wearing masks, or not wearing them correctly (ontheir chin or with their nose sticking out) have picked fights and argued verses respecting the posted rules. The employees atCookie Company shouldn't be scorned like this every day. Not for trying to be safe. Not for following CDC and Madison CountyHealth mandates. They, like many others, are risking a lot to serve us. Their health, their families, etc. They, as human beingstoo, deserve better treatment than this. Read more
Will never buy from this store. After being told 3 times and not being able hear, I got close to the register to hear the... workers muffled "without a mask you must step back from our store", all the while I was behind their" stay 6ft back" signs. Farenough away that I wasn't interfering with other customers. My wife was going to make the purchase, in a mask, I realize thatignorance knows no boundaries. I violated their policy because they couldn't resist messing with someone. I have respect forother people but not stupidity. Read more
The staff here was awesome! I called and ordered my son a birthday cookie cake, they were so helpful making sure I got what I... wanted. We had a special request for a volcano on it and they did an amazing job! My son loves it so much! Read more
Went for friends birthday. Cookies overpriced and do NOT taste as good as they used to. Also noticed after I had ordered that... they had an anti-America decorated cookie cake in the display glorifying Marxism and the disruption of the nuclear family - soanti my family as well. We will not be back, ever. Considering the quality of the cookies, I wish we had just returned them thenand there, I can make much better at home for cheaper. Read more
There is a reason behind this establishment's 2.4 review. The customer service sucks!!! Associates talking among themselves... without acknowledging the customers. Please don't ask for help because, they will act like you are bothering them. One employeewas talking about another employee having Covid at the register.
