To break everything down. Food, honestly and surprisingly the food can be pretty good but considering the state of the kitchen... the fact that food is kept in a refrigerator they don't close the door to among many other things i am assuming the healthinspector can go on a nice vacation after he finishes there inspection. Service, is a mixed bag from exceptional to employeeshaving load outbursts and tantrums to using customers as therapy but in the end you will eventually get your order or checkedout. Atmosphere, so this is the tough one as it has changed alot after the owners wife died but it has gone downhill the storeitself is almost toxic to it's own communities and the communities that are there either come because it is one of the onlyplaces that stocks there niche hobby or that they have been going there for ages and the community props up it's own regardlessof the store itself. This place is half game store and half daycare during weekend events with so many of the employees and participants children... running through the store screaming, which is fine, just a heads up! Event organization could be handled better and issometimes a nightmare with participants having to take over the duties of organizing the tournaments because the organizer issimultaneously running a register, working the kitchen, judging two separate events AND participating in one of the tournaments. This creates quite a slowdown on all fronts and a hectic/frantic environment - especially since the tournaments are timed eventsthat you must pay to participate in. Theft is also an issue here so be sure to keep all of your items in one bag and keep themnext to you or in your sight at all times. They do not allow outside food or drink but if you are hungry the cook staff willgladly and openly let you and everyone else know they are angry that people keep ordering food. Bathrooms are also in terribleshape and never have soap available for hand washing. Overall this is a cool store with a decent selection and could be one ofthe best in the area with more staff during peak hours or dedicated positions of existing staff. Nothing is wrong that couldn'tbe easily remedied. Read more

I really hate to post this but here goes. I was in recently and when I entered I immediately heard an argument. After a few... seconds I realized it was the owner or manager berating and aggressively reprimanding an employee for clocking out 15 minuteslater than he is supposed to. It was very off putting to hear an employee getting yelled at and written up right in front ofeveryone in the store. Especially over something like that. I understand having to talk to an employee about something but thiswas just unnecessarily mean. I felt really bad for the guy. I was planning on buying more dnd miniatures but I had to justleave. I love this store. Good food, the staff is helpful, and the game nights always have a good turnout. There's an in-store ordering... system for cards. It's great for DnD and other tabletop gamers as well. Can't recommend it enough. Read more
