I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It can be difficult sometimes to serve food that is always designed for takeout. Since... they prepared the food as it was for a delivery, we assembled it ourselves. It was very good though. That would also translatewell into getting this to-go or delivered to your home. This is a delayed review, since I was here in January 2022, so ifthings have changed forgive me. Read more

Nice venue with great outside seating. Ramen was good. Only gave a 4 because broth in non spicy dishes was alittle bland. ... Would go again Read more

Delicious and flavorful ramen. The staff is on point with the presentation- I've seen them prepare it and the lady even wiped... down the sides of the bowls prior to serving it to us. Super meticulous. The place is also immaculate. I appreciate thatthey're not on their phones in-between customers but actually cleaning the space and prepping. They also wear masks. Thank youfor doing your part to protect yourself and others! ???? Read more

Quick and delicious!! The spicy Ramen is fantastic! Edit: for to go food they split the broth from the other ingredients making... the end result perfect when you heat the broth. Read more

We finally decided to try Kamado Ramen and it was one of the best decisions every made. The service was good and fast. We?ve... ordered Shoyu Ramen, the bowl was amazing! It looked so pretty, the broth was delicious well everything was delicious! My motherin law is a picky eater and she tried it and like it. Our daughter ordered the Kimchi without the pork belly and she loved it.We tried too and it was delicious. The to go bowl and cup are reusable and so cute. Can?t wait to go back! My wife and I ordered two ramen entrees. The girl up got my order wrong and when I went back in to ask she told me they could... give me the paste that would have made it a spicy miso vs a regular miso but I was going to have to pay a dollar. So eventhough it was there screw up they charged me a buck for a teaspoon or spicy paste to add into my ramen. I protested but shedidn?t care. I wish I could get the $2 tip I left back because the customer service was trash. We come here two-three times amonth but after that encounter we?ll think twice before returning. Read more

I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen. They were okay. Nothing to write home about. The service is very efficient and fast. The... cashier wasn't unfriendly, but she wasn't friendly, either. She took my order so I guess she did what she was supposed todo. My best suggestion is try it to see if you like. It was just okay. Read more

I almost reviewed Kamado several months ago when I visited and got only appetizers because it was too hot outside for ramen. ... I'm glad I waited till I'd experienced their main offering to form a total judgment, because I liked their ramen far better thanthe apps! Like other Stovehouse joints, this Kamado (not to be confused with their new location at MidCity) is a tiny order atthe counter restaurant. Unlike other Stovehouse restaurants, during non-Covid times some people are allowed to sit and eat atthe bar. Seating was limited even then, though, and now they respectfully ask that you enjoy your meal outside or inStovehouse's dedicated indoor dining area. Their main deal is ramen, but they also have some other popular Japanese street foodlike karaage, gyoza, and takoyaki. Their ramen selection is fairly diverse. They run a robust carryout business and have itoperating like a well-oiled machine. I appreciate how carefully the ramen noodles and toppings are packaged so they don't getsoggy riding in the broth on the way home. The bowls also come wrapped in a neat carrying case. Very cool. In the past, whenI just got apps, I tried the gyoza and the karaage. These were both...not amazing. The gyoza was okay, but didn't have a tonof flavor, not even the dipping sauce. I really didn't like the karaage. It was rubbery, not super crispy, and had a ton ofdark meat chicken pieces, which I didn't like. On my next visit, last weekend, it was cold enough to try out the ramen. I gotspicy miso ramen, and I really enjoyed it! Toppings and noodles were abundant, and the broth was rich, flavorful, anddefinitely spicy. I would get this dish again and I look forward to trying different flavors, like the kimchi ramen, in thefuture. I'm no ramen connoisseur as options have been pretty much limited to the instant variety in Huntsville until onlyrecently, but I'm definitely happy they're here to help me expand my knowledge and understanding of the dish.
