Wife and I absolutely love Frankies but sometimes orders are hit and miss and other times even when ordering the same thing I... always order it comes out tasting different. There is no consistency with the flavor or spicing it seems! It's not terrible andwe will continue to order from there but I will be happier when there is consistency. I'm sure just like every other restaurantsin the area COVID and lack of steady workforce plagues them but we REALLY enjoy their food a lot!!!!! Last two times we were inthey were only offering pickup or delivery. We live close enough that dining in isn't really a must for us. Read more
Great service, food was soon good. I tried the shrimp po boy and went back the next day for the catfish.
We were pleasantly surprised with how great this food was. We have ordered several times now and we haven't been disappointed... yet either by food quality or service. They care about your feedback and want to know if you have any problems. We would highlyrecommend them to anyone who likes a good seafood style meal. It is given to you in bags and disposable containers, our mealcontained potatoes, crab legs, corn on the cob, sausage and you can even make the meal spicy or regular. I went to the shack on a Friday after lunch time and was skeptical at first because there were no customers. We ordered the... catfish plate with fries, slaw and a drink and I have to say that it was on point. Hot, flaky and not heavy on the breading. Thehush puppies were delicious and not oily like in a lot of places. The staff kept checking to see if we needed refills orcondiments, etc. Very attentive. Looking forward to try The Crab Delight for 2! This meal for two people includes two snow crabclusters, eight shrimp, two pieces of corn, sausage and potatoes. Read more
Overpriced dessert for two thin slices and it did not come with the ice cream and strawberry toppings. Thomas Pound Cake looks... like a piece of toast cut in half. This was my first experience at Frankie Crab Shack. Very disappointing! Read more
I finally was able to experience the amazing food this past weekend at Frankies! OMG-the collard greens and lobster macaroni... was so flavorful and more importantly?.served hot and FRESH! If you are ever in the area, please do yourself a favor and govisit Frankies. Read more
This place is a great little hole in the wall seafood joint. Everything is seasoned and cooked perfectly. The lobster mac was... definitely worth the extra money. Wasn't big on the slaw (very mayo based) but I'm hard to please where coleslaw isconcerned. Go and try it. It's great! Read more
Wife and I ordered the shrimp and catfish basket, the fish was smaller than expected maybe 3-4 oz piece of meat, so small in... fact we were not happy, the shrimp were ok and nothing to complain about there, it took 30 minutes or better to get our foodonce we ordered, the fries looked crispy but were very soggy, very few and all of the food was warm not hot like it had beensitting for 10 minutes before being brought out. They had no ketchup (ironic they have kids menu items but no ketchup) and therewere no napkins out as well any where in the dinning room area. Once I checked out the server/cashier didn?t even turn themachine around for me to select a tip (which I would have selected 0 since the waitress took our order brought drinks and thennothing the rest of the hour that we were there and the cook brought our food out) yet looking at my charges today she added 10$to her tip and didn?t deserve one penny of that. Felt very fast food like place but not fast at all. Would not recommend, andwill not be going back. 14$ for a meal and the plate looked like it could have been 7-8$ at best food wise.
