Went here for lunch with a friend. We had five plates to go. They forgot all of our bread and two plates were missing their... second side. The catfish and chicken were very good. The greens, peach cobler, and beans all tasted awful and were clearlyburnt. The food was not bad overall but definitely could be better. Read more

Phenomenal! Got the smothered turkey leg, collards, cabbage, and okra; ALL of it absolutely delicious.
We drove up from Florida and Googled Fried Chicken. Thank goodness this restaurant came up as number 1. WOW what great food! The... fried chicken was akin to my mother?s! The best chicken we have ever had in a restaurant. And the green beans and Mac & Cheesewere outstanding. Will definitely visit again on our next trip through Huntsville. You have a gem here! Wasn?t good like it was back when it was at the old location. The red velvet cake had the consistency of pie, the collards were... chopped big and they were hard, the turkey leg was the best thing on the plate- good falling off the bone but the yams were alsohard not even cooked all the way. A small cornbread muffin for all the food on the plate wasn?t even sufficient. It tasted likeboxed jiffy mix. I try to support my fellow black business owners but this just was not good. It was not IT and I spent 31$ ontwo plates for me and my husband, sad to say Money wasted. Read more
