Reviews for Another Broken Egg Cafe in Huntsville, AL
Friendly people, creative menu and pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately, those qualities do NOT merit the exorbitant prices. I... didn't even order a coffee and it was $16. I highly recommend a more reasonably priced, local cafe for breakfast. Read more

Great service. Top notch food. This was my first visit. Me and my mom split the cinnamon roll French toast and a skinny omelet. ... Being my first time they also gave us an order of biscuit beignets. They were Delish. Prices weren?t bad for the amount offood. Almost the whole menu looked good. Ps: Im a pretty adventurous eater, I?m just not sure how crawfish and shrimp pairwith egg dishes. I?m gonna have to ponder it and maybe try it. Lol. But all the dishes sound amazing. Read more
Lovely little place in the up & coming Twickenham area of downtown Huntsville. The food & drinks were excellent. I had the... Bloody Molly, (Irish Whiskey, mix, and pickle juice), it was so yummy. My daughter had a South of the Border Coffee, (includingKahlua, Tequila and cinnamon), which she thoroughly enjoyed. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. It took a whilefor our food to come out, but the wait was well worth it. We will definitely return. Read more
Came on a Saturday morning and sat immediately! Service was excellent and quick. The food was a little disappointing. Cinnamon... roll French toast tasted good but was a tad dry despite all the whipped cream, rum butter and syrup. Grits left something to bedesired and the sausage patties were over cooked. Omelette was tasty and I will definitely come back to try some different itemsand some of the cocktails. Read more
Popular place for brunch. Called ahead for an 11 am table reservation which wasn't ready till about 11:30, but the wait was... worth it. I had shrimp and grits which were excellent. My dinner companion had apple fritter French toast which came with a sideof eggs and sausage patties. We were both happy with our choices and time with friends. If you are not in a hurry and want somereally nice food with a brunch theme in an open atmosphere, this may be the place for you. I highly recommend calling ahead toget a spot in line. Read more
I will preface this review by sharing how much I love brunch, and that I am spoiled to spectacular brunch spots back in the... Denver, Colorado area. That said, there is a minimum quality bar that I expect even by local standards, and based on one singleexperience, this restaurant did not meet it. It?s truly unfortunate, because this seems to be one of the most prominent localchain of brunch restaurants. The service was slow but adequate, which was fine for an off peak time on a Wednesday morning.Their coffee cups are very nice, and this location was large and inviting. The coffee and breads were just ok, the potatoes wereold and dry, and the omelettes were bland and just odd in flavor and texture. I don?t eat sausage, but my husband always getsan extra side of it (see photo) and he said it was the strangest and worst breakfast sausage he?s ever had. This is the firsttime he has ever walked away without finishing breakfast, and for that reason I doubt I?ll be trying another location to givethis place a second chance anytime soon. If I do return, I?ll be trying the pancakes, as I?ve heard great things about them. Ifthe competition happens to stumble upon this review, please please please build a First Watch, Original Pancake House, Snooze,La Peep, or even a Village Inn in North Alabama! ????Brunch should feel like a treat!
