I love The Habit as a chain. Hands down my favorite spot for a burger. Unfortunately this location just does not meet standards.... I have been here four times in the last year. Each time the ordering counter had trash, straw wrappers and soda spills. The sodastation was sticky and the lemonades are almost always out. There were flies in the lobby area and the kitchen. Lastly, everytime I eat a Santa Barbara Char at this location I end up with an upset stomach and feel like barfing. Doesn?t happen at anyother location. Read more
I ordered online for curbside pick up. I was traveling with a senior adult and getting in and out of the car is hard for her. I... thought curbside pickup would be easier. I arived at the store and parked I clicked on the link to say I arrived. A few minuteslater I got a message telling me my food was ready and they will be out shortly. The Habit Burger is a great burger. It?s perfectly char- grilled with a nice taste. You can add any extras but I?d highly... recommend the grilled onions with barbecue sauce to add a nice taste. The fries are crispy and thin. Our favorite side dish arethe air-fried crispy tempura- battered green beans. Lots of snap and delicious. The staff is friendly and the service isfast. The indoor and outdoor seating is available most of the time. The salads are very good too. There?s lots of combinationsand we?ve tasted them all. This is the habit location ever! Others are very inconsistent or not as good, but this place always makes their fries and... burgers perfection. One thing I wish they let me know is the length of time it would take to receive my order, which was almost30 minutes. I didn?t realize how many online orders / 3rd party apps were in front of us before we ordered in person. Thebathroom also needed more attention to it too. Read more
The last few orders have been screwed up and 30+ minutes late. We just tried another time hoping they?d improved. They gave a... ready time before ordering. Have been at restaurant for 45 mins AFTER THE READY TIME GIVEN waiting. Even if short staffed youshould be able to forecast ETA and give customers choice before ordering.
