Seriously, thank you whoever was on shift tonight. Totally forgot to get a birthday cake, no one was delivering cakes at this... hour, but the Donuttery was available! In a panic I asked with instructions to include a candle if possible (totally expectingthis to be an unfulfillable request) and the Donuttery came through!! The only caveat I would say is if you're going to try to get gluten-free items come during the weekends, we came on a Monday and... all they had left was a matcha flavored donut. However that matcha flavored donut my wife said was excellent and she has glutenallergies. Other than that the place is amazing and has some awesome donuts! Read more
A 24 hour donut shop with so many varieties you will have to go back at least 100 times to try them all. I?m on trip number 10... in the last three years. I don?t splurge on donuts too often, but when I do, this the best spot I have found anywhere I?velived. They also have croissant sandwiches if you?re in the mood for something less sugary. Read more
Delicious Delicious Stopped in on Sunday afternoon - Somewhat over price? - Quick service - Be prepared to spend $$$ if you... want a dozen. The beignets are trash. Just take them off the menu. Visiting in town for Great Wolf Lodge and Disneyland and we found this gem on the way to Huntington Beach! Fantastic selection... of some pretty tasty donuts! Super fresh and fantastic texture! Old fashions, blueberry, and my favorite was the maple baconlong john! Will definitely go here one more time before we leave! Read more
I?ll be honest: we?re a Sidecar household. But we decided to try something different. Overall, mixed feelings about this place.... Staff is SUPER friendly and helpful because the donut selection is overwhelming. But they are patient and we didn?t feel rushedwhile picking out our 12. I would probably have given 3 stars here if it weren?t for the staff, they earned the extra star. Ialso tried an iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and I thought it was delicious. I usually don?t get PSLs because I hateartificial flavorings, but I took a chance and was so glad I did. None of that fake, bitter aftertaste of a syrup, and notoverly sweet. I like my coffee strong, though, so I would add more shots next time. Overall, the donuts for me were not as goodas Sidecar, but I did enjoy a few of them, like the blueberry filled donuts. Their malasada-type donut with the sugar on theoutside was very tasty, but I ended up removing the filling because I didn?t like it. But I consistently thought that the actualdough of the raised donuts was pretty delicious. So pros and all around, there were some enjoyable and not so great aspects. Butas Sidecar people, the price of these was great. We got a whole dozen for the same price that we usually spend on like 5 donutsat Sidecar lol. I've been coming here for years and the donuts have always been incredible. There hasn't been one bad experience I've had coming... here for the last 15 years. I've tried almost all of their donuts and they are amazing. The donuts in my opinion have greattaste, not super sweet like others I've tried, and have great texture. I've recently tried their vegan donuts as well and I wasreally impressed, and this is coming from a non-vegan person. This is still my go to donut spot and I'm going to continue to gothere as whenever I get the chance to. If you haven't already, you must go here at least once to try their amazing selection ofdonuts.
