My first time ordering was last night through doordash. I ordered the #6 teriyaki chicken & Kalbi rib combo. At first sight it... looked appetizing but the chicken was dry, tasting like refrigated days old then warm up. The ribs had alot of fat but tastywith the matiki sauce. I have never been to Hawaii I'm guessing I would find this food better but it was okay. The chicken dried over cooked but... edible. The rice (rice cooker made) starchy bland but okay. I chose salad I'm guessing a bit vinegrate okay actually I had touse the salad juice to soften the bites cause over all too dry of food for me. Customer service the young man verycourteous. Ordered Sam's special with the beef ribs. I've been here before so I know what it should be like but this time it's like taking... leftovers out of the fridge n warming not even heating the ribs up. I've tried out the Fullerton location and since we were in the area decided to give the Huntington Beach location a try. Boy... were boths locations night and day in comparison. We ordered 2 of the #1 combo which included 4 beef ribs, rice and choice ofmac salad or green salad. We opted for the mac salad. Our ordered took a while to come so you know it's made to order. The beefribs lacked flavor but was fall off the bone. The mac salad was ok, nothing to rave about. It also came with teriyaki sauce. Weate all the beef ribs and the rice and took majority of the mac salad home. After dinner, we also ordered a dole whip soft servefor dessert. They had 3 flavors, pineapple, vanilla or swirl. They let us taste test it first so we opted for the pineapple.Food was overall ok. They are in a big plaza so plenty of parking. They had indoor and outdoor seating. You order at thecounter and they'll call your name or number for you to go pick up. You can sit anywhere where there is an open table. Restroomswere clean. So that's all the good parts. The reason I gave them 2 stars was because of their service. When we walked it, itwas not welcoming. The lady taking orders just didn't want to be there. She also didn't seem like she was too familiar with themenu. After they took our order, we asked for cups for water and they told us they don't serve water. I mean what restaurantdoesn't serve water. When our food finally came, they have no plates. We had a child with us that was sharing. So they gave us atogo container instead. The server brought us utensils but seeing that we had 3 people, she still only brought out 2 sets ofutensils. We had to go back and ask. So no water, no utensils, no plates.
