Very nice restaurant experience. Food was phenomenal. We ordered lobster ravioli, squid ink pasta with scallops, and one of the... seafood dishes there. It was all great food and you can tell they put a lot of care into assembling their dishes. Very goodplace if you'd like to eat Italian food. A tad pricey, but it is all worth it for the quality. The servers there are really nicetoo. Read more

Labor Day weekend we were in Huntington Beach for a Civil War Reenacting event. Saturday evening my husband and I were looking... for a place to go for dinner. We both looked for restaurants near me and one of the places that came up was MangiaMangia. Originally, my husband chose a different restaurant and when we arrived the place was a zoo and there was a long line. I suggested Mangia Mangia to him because I had read the reviews and they were great. This isn't typical Italian spaghetti andsauce kind of food. It is absolutely delicious and something you won't find in a typical restaurant. When we walked in, thearoma of garlic and Italian spices filled the air. A woman was pickup up a cheesecake for an event she was hosting. Thecheesecake was a blend of cream cheese, ricotta cheese and sour cream. The wait staff was friendly and made you feel likefamily. We will be going there again! Read more

Very good pasta with a friendly staff. The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. If you want real garlic bread, this place... makes it with real garlic so your breath will be kicking by the end of the night. Great local restaurant and would recommendthis place. Read more

Went in today with my family to get a late lunch. The food is so good! I am vegan and I was able to eat with my mom vegan... family. I asked for the bread without the garlic and butter and ordered the eggplant appetizer. For my main meal I got thegnocchi napoletana without cheese and add asparagus. The server was very tentative to our orders and super friendly. The foodtasted fresh and made with love. Highly recommend coming here if you want authentic Italian food. We met the new owner as wellas he came up and asked how we where doing. What a friendly and helpful man! I love it when an owner is involved in thebusiness, it shows that they truly care about customer service and the customer experience. Read more

Prepare to wait around 20 to 25 minutes of wait if you are dining in on a Friday night. This restaurant is a local favorite in... Huntington Beach. We didn't have any reservation so when we walked in around 6: 30 we just have to wait 25 minutes. The host andserver were courteous and prompt. Food tasted okay. My husband liked the complimentary garlic bread. Spaghetti bolognese wasgood but the calamari fritti was a bit chewy. Overall it's a homey restaurant and our stomach were full of good food. The food look good, it was cook good but no flavor at all! Is like they forgot the salt and pepper. Maybe is the way... Huntington people like it but not how Italian food really is. In the positive note: the waiter was super nice and the table winetoo. I really hope they fixed it because I would love to give them another try Read more
