What?s up with the ripped booth seats? Looks like someone took a knife to them. Been this way for a FAR TOO LONG time. How can... you even seat a person in that without a care? This restaurant does well enough to be able to purchase new seat cushions.Allowing this to go on this long makes you wonder what other corner cutting is going on? We usually eat at the local O'Charley's about twice a month. On July 17th, we decided to eat at there. My husband ordered the... chopped steak and I ordered the Chicken Parmesan which I have tried before. (I loved chicken parmesan I was expecting a smooth,delicious marinara. O'Charley's marinara was full of half steamed 1/2 cherry tomatoes. I hate to describe it as nasty but it wasnot appetizing with the half tomatoes and a chunky sauce. Spent about $20 a person and got the best meal I?ve had in awhile. I?m typically very wary of the family-oriented restaurant... chains but I have to say that I was very impressed with the quality of food. I ordered the Cajun shrimp and chicken, a summerspecial (can?t remember the exact name). It was fried chicken strips and popcorn shrimp smothered in a white gravy with Cajunseasoning. (The gravy reminded me of Popeyes mashed potato gravy). I?ve heard good things about the chicken here and ifanything, they were underselling it, because it was VERY good. The quality of my sides were iffy; that?s why it?s only a 4 starreview. The Mac N Cheese was just okay, not super cheesy and the Macaroni texture was ?eh?, maybe a little too firm. My coleslaw seemed like it could?ve been a little old. It had the one-day-too-old look and I think I bit a piece of ice that was insideit, so previously frozen. It tasted alright though. My lunch-partner?s crab cake was also a little small but tasted good. So theseafood was on par. It was very filling and I still have food left over. Absolutely one of the worst meals I have had. Broccoli was cold so they microwaved it then it was like rubber, pork chop was... nothing but a thin piece of fat n grissel, chicken tenders so small and over cooked, hard and hardley any eatable chicken inthem. Will not be dining here again that?s for sure. Server was good m, courteous and prompt. Food issues should have beenaddressed better though. Read more

I usually like it, as a matter of fact, love it. 5/5/22 was a different matter. Steak was too done, didn't like the potato soup,... and I always order it. Salad and bread were the best part of my meal. The peach cobbler, I got to go. It definitely was notworth $5.99. It was awful. Won't do that again. I did order Mango lemonade, but didn't like it. Used to be one of the best restaurants in the mall area. Sad to say it has gone downhill. Multiple seats with issues. Company... changed the potato soup recipe to equal cheese soup garnished with potatoes. Medium well burger equals well done and crunchyedges. Well done burger equals charcoal. Food and service overall was great. Would give 5 stars except my girlfriend ordered the Lousiana steak medium rare and it was... the rarest steak I have ever seen. She didn't neccesarily mind too much but only ate half to take the rest home and finishcooking it. I had the butter drizzled fried chicken, baked potato and Caesar salad. They were all delicious. The kids hadchicken tenders and fries and they gobbled it up. Overall really good food. Kids food was only 99 cents each and the staff wasfriendly and took care of us quickly.
